Paradox: The Infinity Abyss
Project Overview
Paradox is a world that follows a young man named Kannan Hunter. Kannan's life was not unlike our own lives. He went to school, worked a dead-end job, and came home to his family to do the same thing the next day. He was unequivocally plain.
That is until something finally happened! Now, Kannan will find himself in new scenarios, with people from other words and times. You may recognize these people, but you might not. That all remains...
The project will be structured in a way similar to a webcomic. This, of course, is one of the most famous webcomics: Homestuck! As of writing this description, we have a site being made! I hope that this project will be updated daily. Hopefully, voice actors will also be able to contribute to voicing some of the characters.
First, we follow young Kannen Hunter on their way to school. It is soon found out that they have magical powers that only they possess. What follows is one fateful meeting at a military facility in his hometown of Carson City, Nevada. There, portals open up to swallow them whole. What new friends and enemies await them? Only time will tell...
Hopefully, Agent Knight, Blast, Manson, Dahlia, Tungsten, Roughshot, Miracle, Lycan, and Copper can aid Kannen's troublesome follies!
Welcome to Paradox! A world where no possibility is left off the table. Please join me in future endeavors!

Artists will be conscripted by their skill and style. Artists will need to have a vibrant style, almost akin to that of pop art and character design art. Characters can be varied in style, although I would prefer if they were similar to something that you might see on Cartoon Network. I would also like for some of these artists to be able to draw backgrounds. These backgrounds can be varied in style, but need to be detailed and show clear effort. Again, we're really taking all types of artists, backgrounds, character design, abstract, classical, etc. This will be a fairly large project!

Like the artists, we will be taking animators from all walks of life and art styles. However, the animators must be able to mimic the artist's style or the agreed-upon theme for the "episode", panel, or page. Animators can have any software that works for them. Otherwise, I don't have much to say!

The video editors must be able to withstand deadlines of upwards of 1 video per month (20 minutes) to 3 videos per 2 months (10 minutes each). They must also be well-versed in Adobe Premier Pro and/or make videos look like they were made using Flash Animation (as in, the style/aesthetic). Like the animators and artists, they must be willing to diversify their techniques and skills.

Like most of the roles on this list. Musicians must be able to make music that captivates the mind and spirit. They must be able to create songs that perfectly encapsulate the character and/or situation. Styles that are prominently featured in Paradox are as follows: BGM, Classical/Orchestral, EDM, Dance, Funk, Classical Rock, and (occasionally) Pop. It is highly suggested that they familiarize themselves with the music of Homestuck, as this project takes heavy inspiration from it. The musician must be able to use and be familiar with FL Studio. They may use any of the versions, as long as they produce good music! Ha!

These folks should be able to edit audio in that which is turned in by the Voice Actors (which if you were wondering, we will be holding auditions for later). The Audio Editors should be capable of making sound effects and mastering sound quality and music volume if the occasion so arises. They may share some responsibilities with the Video Editors, whom they must collaborate with on a frequent basis.

As a head writer myself, I consider this role to be the most difficult! We aim to make a fantastical setting that hops between many different eras, times, and places. However, they must be able to write in a variety of mediums, be that myths/parables, science fiction, high fantasy, political intrigue, warrior's/hero's journey, noir/mystery, comic-writing, and video-game writing (among others). When describing things, the writers must go in-depth and leave nothing to the reader's imagination. However, they must understand that different situations require specific styles, and they should change their writing styles accordingly to fit the situation that the characters face. Speaking of, they must be able to write character arcs that are compelling, intense, and connect to other character arcs/the overall theme of the story. MUST be able to take criticism!

Similar to the Writers, the Writing Editors must know how to write to a degree. However, they must also be able to check the balances that the writers put forward. They must know where we make spelling/grammar mistakes, write something that doesn't tie into the theming, or make mistakes within the continuity of the story. In Layman's Terms, the Editors must stay on top of the story at all times, even if the Creator (myself) isn't! Ha!
