Hello! This is a fandub for the manga Pandora Hearts by Jun Mochizuki. Please be advised that there will be spoilers for the entire series should you choose to audition.
The story follows Oz Vessalius, the 15-year old heir to the house of Vessalius. His coming-of-age ceremony is set upon by strangers who condemn him for the sin of being alive and banish him into the depths of Abyss, an otherworldly dimension.
This set of auditions is for the first thirteen chapters of the manga. There will be future ones for the later chapters, so be sure to keep an eye out!
Please have a Discord. I will be creating a server for the fandub so that it's easier to communicate and collect lines and such.
Please have a good mic. When you audition, please read each line three times with different inflections so I can get a good idea of your range.

The protagonist of the story. A fifteen year old boy who has just come of age. While he does have a lot going on under the surface, he's good at hiding it behind smiles and childish antics. Easily falls in love and is rather stubborn. Has a high-to-mid ranged voice and is voiced by a woman (Junko Minagawa) in the anime's adaptation.
[ through gritted teeth, in pain ] Owww..... Hey... You alive, Gilbert?
A melody I don't recall ever hearing before..... A pocket watch that belongs to someone I don't know... But.... somehow...
[ excited, lovesick ] It’s like my heart was pierced with one look! You saw it too, right, Ada? Her silky hair!
The valet of Oz Vessalius. In his youth, he is a timid and panicky boy who always falls for his master's antics. He is deathly afraid of cats and will freeze up around them. In the anime, he was voiced by a woman (Azuma Sakamoto) and his voice is rather high and squeaky.
[ worried ] Aaaaah, Mrs. Kate will be so furious with me….!!
This place is…. Perhaps a graveyard?

The valet of Oz Vessalius. Is very loyal to a fault towards Oz and is rather self-sacrifical. He's much more confident than he was in his youth. Has Contracted a Chain called Raven, one of the Black-Winged Chains.
He has a deeper voice and is often angered by little things. Voiced by Kousuke Toriumi in the anime.
Even now, I want to stay as your servant.
Shut up, you stupid rabbit.
In other words, it'll be fine if you die!
As a note: If it comes down to it, whoever I cast for this role may also be asked to voice her twin sister, Alice Baskerville.
A young woman who creates the Chains in the Abyss. Obsessive and lonely. She misses her beloved Jack Vessalius and is drawn to Oz because of it. Very erratic and sinister at times, manipulative and cunning.
She and Alice are voiced by Ayako Kawasumi in the anime.
[ happy ] So…. you came back after all! I’m so happy!
[ sinister ] Lament! Terror! Despair! I shall….kindly teach them all to you!
[ nostalgic ] Someone is singing, I know this song. It's a soft, sad melody that wrings my heart, a song that someone used to sing to us... a long long time ago.
Note: whoever is cast for this role may also be asked to voice her twin sister, Will of the Abyss.
Also known as B-Rabbit throughout the series. A loud and brash tomboy who doesn't seem to care about much except for meat. Gives nicknames to the people she doesn't like, and is oddly protective over what's "hers," including her Contractor, Oz Vessalius. She and her sister are voiced by Ayako Kawasumi in the anime.
[ determined ] I won't let anyone take what's mine! I'll protect you until the very end!
[ angry ] That's who I am now- Alice the B-Rabbit! So carve it deep into that so-called knowledge of yours!! You unsavory looking meat ball!!
I'm... scared... that I'm not human. That I'm different from other Chains. That there are things I don't know. That I'll end up knowing things I don't want to know. More than anything else... I'm... always... scared of myself.
Note: whoever is cast for this role may also be asked to voice Echo Baskerville as they share a body.
Often referred to as "Zwei" or "Duldee." Has the ability to manipulate and control others like puppets thanks to her Chain. The more erratic and broken of the two personalities, Noise is rather obsessive towards her master, Vincent Nightray, and will do anything to stay by his side, even if it means putting her more subservient personality through constant abuse.
She and Echo are voiced by Ryou Hirohashi in the anime.
[ sinister, almost sickly sweet ] Oh, what lovely…..clothing. Won’t you let me see too???
How mean. Those people were your colleagues too... You've become such a cruel adult, huh?
It's a pity, but the curtains shall fall here. It's not the same as the scenario I had written out
Note: whoever is cast as Echo may be asked to voice Noise, as they share a body.
The subservient and devout valet of Vincent Nightray, she obeys orders without question and without fail, often acting as an emotionless doll Vincent can toy with. She does this to keep Noise, the other personality in her body, safe. For most of the series, she speaks in third person, monotone and void of emotion unless it trickles out against her will.
In the anime, she and Noise are both voiced by Ryou Hirohashi.
Echo is a servant of the Nightray house.
Even if I'm to be tortured, to be mistreated, to be humiliated, Echo doesn't have the right to fight against it.
Why are you saying such terrible things? Why are you... of all people... saying.. something... like that?
The young Lady of the Rainsworth Dukedom. Since she contracted a Chain at thirteen, her body has ceased aging, even when she should be twenty-three years old as ten years have passed. Sharon is polite and proper, yet sometimes she drops that demeanor when people get on her nerves. She often feels inferior to others and it shows.
She is voiced by Kana Hanazawa in the anime.
Of course I had to give up a lot of things, but what I will get in exchange for what I've lost...depends only on me.
From here on, there's no turning back. We have Pandora's Key. Even if this gentleman is a fallen angel that will bring about destruction.
Mother! Big brother Xerxes!
Note: If you are cast as this role, you will also be cast as his doll, Emily.
The oddball eccentric of the cast and Sharon Rainsworth's valet, as well as a representative of the organization Pandora. He is very protective of Sharon, doting on her in a familial sense. He doesn't make a lot of sense a lot of the time, and is always seen with a piece of candy in his mouth or in his hand. He does harbor some secrets and trauma that he wishes to withhold from others unless he himself wishes to tell.
He is voiced by Akira Ishida in the anime.

The young eight-year-old sister of Oz Vessalius. She is quite shy and fearful, yet curious and playful.
She, as well as her timeskip/current self, is voiced by Kaori Fukuhara in the anime.

The eighteen-year-old sister of Oz Vessalius, currently attending Lutwidge Academy. The head of the school's Disciplinary Committee and the love interest of Vincent Nightray, she has grown a sense of confidence and independence since her youth.
She is voiced by Kaori Fukuhara in the anime, and by Ai Tokunaga in the drama CD.
She does not show up as her current self until chapter 24, but I wanted to cast her at the same time as her younger iteration.
It's been ten years since then. My face... it doesn't resemble much to how I used to look like... If... if the brother were to say 'This isn't Ada'... if I'm not recognized...
It's okay... there's nothing to be afraid of... Because I... will always be by your side!

The younger brother of Gilbert Nightray and the master of Echo and Noise, Vincent is a rather complicated individual. He tends to fall asleep anywhere due to the side effect of one of his Chains, Dormouse. He can be violent and erratic at times, though a lot of the time he lazes about and seems carefree. He is very obsessive and protective over his brother.
He is voiced by Jun Fukuyama as an adult, and Fuyuka Ono (Fuyuka Oura) as a child.

The proclaimed "hero" of the Tragedy of Sablier and a man who seems to only exist inside of Oz's mind, Jack Vessalius is an odd one that doesn't reveal too much, preferring to leave metaphorical breadcrumbs for Oz to find. [MOST OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT HIM IS A SPOILER.]
He is voiced by Daisuke Ono in the anime.

The best friend of Xerxes Break and a fellow member of Pandora. Reim is always on edge thanks to a mixture of being overworked and Break's antics. He is the closest person other than Sharon to the man.
He is voiced by Junichi Suwabe in the anime.
It would make me happy too... if you and I could be friends.
Y-You haven't changed a bit..... Xerxes Break.
Yes.... And after you have taken the trouble to come over to Pandora.... I am terribly sorry.
The uncle of Oz and Ada, as well as the man who plays the fatherly role in his elder brother's absence, Oscar is a very fun and lighthearted individual who gets serious when it counts. As the current Duke of Vessalius, he has a heavy burden on his shoulders.
He is voiced by Hideyuki Umezu in the anime.

Oz, you probably have no idea...what it meant to me...to be held by...that small hand of yours...what torture it was.

Oz's father and an awful man, as well as the Contractor of the Black-Winged Chain Gryphon. He does not see Oz as his son, often referring to him as an "it."
He is voiced by Tooru Ookawa in the anime.

Where are you hurrying off to? How long has it been since we spent some time together, as a family? Or rather, how many times have we ever had the chance to? This is the perfect opportunity... for a nice long family talk.
The Vessalius family's housekeeper. An exasperated woman who is tired of chasing after Oz. Rather high-strung and dramatic.
She is voiced by Aya Hisakawa in the anime.
As servant to the young master, surely you must know! Where is Young Master Oz hiding!?

Sir Oscar! Is Young Master Oz in there?
A young boy Oz befriends early on. A recurring character, a boy who cares for his father, William. He's blissfully unaware of his father's crimes.
He is voiced by Kumiko Higa in the anime.
Our family lost all our money, and we can't live in the mansion anymore. Our house is smaller and we don't have servants, but I get to be with my dad a lot more than before!
