This is a personal project of mine that has been in the works since 2022. At first, it was going to be a comic-dub version of my webcomic ‘Overworked’, but now that I'm done with university for a while, I've decided to go the extra mile and turn it into a visual novel!
I'm looking for artists, scriptwriters, and Voice actors, so if you happen to be interested or have any questions, please do apply and I hope to speak to you later on!

You’ve probably noticed the name change, it’s been changed due to there already being visual novel called OverWorked so to avoid this project and their project clashing we’ve decided the best course of action is to change our name!

Willow and October are finally getting an updated design! (Although they look the same slightly)
To be more productive I’ve made a discord server so the voice actor, scriptwriters and artist have a more easier way to communicate!
Voice Actor
October is one of the main characters in Overworked
He is a blunt and deadpanned detective who works for the ‘LetterBox’ agency and tends to come across as rude and dismissive without meaning to. He has a slightly deep voice with a slight accent

Willow is the second main character from OverWorked
She's a happy-go-lucky puppy girl! She's very cheery and is a little dense sometimes - which leads to her being labelled an airhead at most times but she makes it up by being the brawns of the team!

Miss Ying is a supporting character in OverWorked and is one of the higher ranked detectives in the PaperBox Agency - She has zero tolerance for Slackers and will quite promptly find them work to do with or without their agreement.
Despite not having a head, She can communicate perfectly fine without it
She's strict, blunt and has very little patience for those she seems to be a waste of a job

Star is a happy go lucky girl, but don’t be fooled, behind that sweet and kind personality she’s a key part of the group that is behind the deaths and murders of the Demi-Humans

“What’s with that look? You didn’t accidentally see something you shouldn’t, right?”
Voice Actor
The Traitor is the current boss of Star and The Traitor - One of the groups that are behind the ongoing case of missing humans and Demi-humans
She is the one who is responsibility for ‘dealing’ with the bodies afterwards
She’s very mysterious with very little known about her besides her noticeable Russian accent.
“Ah, There you are, little miss sunshine”
“Yes yes, go along now - I have another order to deal with”
Voice Actor
The traitor is a wolf demi-human who is working with the group that is behind the cases of missing humans and Demi-humans - hence the nickname the Traitor.
(Example of voice, think Anton from ZZZ)
“Ugh! What has that brat done now!”
“I do have a name ya’know it’s- Hey! Don’t walk away I’m still talking!”

I may be a little uninformed in this area but I’m looking for someone who can help write dialogue as well as help with the story progression

- Serious thing though, on the surface hes definitely can be seen as a goofball or someone who doesnt take life that Seriously but despite that he has his serious moments
- is usually upbeat and kinda cheery [e.g. Caine from tadc or tenna]
- rumors say hes one bad day from a serious crashout
(His nickname is Tuna)
"Seems like you've stumbled into my office again! Whats the matter?" [Neutral and calm]
"Sounds serious, hanya put my afternoon meeting on hold. I dont care that you were pruning feathers! This isnt a salon GAH!" [Annoyed/frustrated]
"GET BACK TO WORK." [serious]

Hotline is a desk worker next to Hanya, they have a sort of rivalry going on as Hanya think he’s too pompous perfectionist while Hotline thinks she’s just a stupid slacker.
Voice references: I’d say he sounds similar to Caine from TADC but not as proformancy
"*Ringring~* youve the best detective agency in the whole city, what can I getcha?" [Upbeat]
"Heeyy bird brain, big boss told me! the best host ever for your info-mat-ion to tell you to stop slackin and to get movin.. he also said you suck :/" [teasing and cocky]
"Ringring~ isnt it my favourite bunch of slackers! Ya know, big boss said i was nominated as employee of the month. Again! Haha! Lucky me~" [teasing, gloating and annoying]

As I have been struggling a little with coding as I am new, I’m looking for someone who is a bit more experienced with coding and would offer a helping hand and or some advice
I understand if no one is interested as this is an unpaid role but any advice or tips would be very useful!
