Operation Thomas The Tank Engine Remaster
Project Overview
Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends is an iconic television series that I, as well as many others, have loved for decades. The models and set designs were gorgeous to look at, the music was beautiful, and the voices provided by the one narrator for each season were quite entertaining. However, a curiosity that has bitten me recently is, what would it be like if the show used voice actors from the very beginning rather than just one guy doing all the narration? And that is one of many ideas I have in store for this special project. I'm doing what is essentially a fan-made "remastering" of sorts, of EVERY SINGLE episode from the classic era of Thomas from seasons 1 to 7! But I can't do it alone! Hence why I'm here. I'm hoping to have this project done by October, as it was this month that the show first aired on TV.

For Thomas's voice, I need a happy, enthusiastic voice that strikes that good balance of young, but also mature if that makes any sense. It can't be too high-pitched childish sounding, but it also can't be too deep. If you want to use voices from the TV series as reference, that's fine. But in general, try to make it your own. It has to feel authentic to the character.
