[CLOSED] Love Live! Idol OC Group Auditions

Project Overview

Hello! Weโ€™re a Love Live! fan cover group and revolves around original characters! However, there are NO pre-existing characters and you will get to use your own original character! We will be covering both ฮผ's and Aqours songs in Japanese and possibly English.

Auditions are open for singers, animators, artists, and mixers!
(Note: We wonโ€™t immediately cast Singer spots until the deadline hits. Mixers, Animators, and Artists may be notified through PM earlier than the deadline as there is no limit to those roles.)

DEADLINE: April 20th, 2017 (at 11:59 p.m. (-6:00 GMT))

Grace Period: April 21st to April 24th (at 11:59 p.m. (-6:00 GMT))

Joining Period: April 25th to May 2nd (at 11:59 p.m. (-6:00 GMT))

(*-6 GMT is Central Standard Time Currently.)
(*Deadline is also flexible.)
(*UPDATE: Deadline will change depending upon the auditions for each role.)


๐ŸŒธ Singers will be auditioning for school year and attribute.


๐ŸŒธ Once all spots are casted and everyone is confirmed, Character Creation can begin within.


๐ŸŒธ Subunits, the group name, etc. will be decided during Character Creation in chat!


๐ŸŒธ Artists, Mixers, and Animators can create a character too! Be apart of our story~


Rules!:


๐ŸŒธ If casted as any part, please make sure to remain active by checking the Announcements channel on our Discord Server at least once every few days.


๐ŸŒธ If youโ€™re auditioning as a singer, please sing at least 20 seconds of any Love Live! Song in Japanese. Japanese is mandatory, but you CAN sing in English after that if you want.

  • You can have the background music playing, however, please make sure to keep your voice loud enough for us to hear.

  • If you choose to have background music, please make sure to be using the Off Vocal/Karaoke version.

  • Please have a relatively clear mic and make sure thereโ€™s no background noise/static. (e.i. No vacuuming in the background or other people speaking.)


๐ŸŒธ Our messaging system is called Discord, so please download it OR use the browser version! You can also download it on iTunes and Google Play. (Note: This only applies to casted members, mixers, and animators.)


๐ŸŒธ If youโ€™re auditioning for a mixer, please send at least a 40 second example of your work that has more than three voices minimum! Remember, there will be nine voices youโ€™ll be working with!


๐ŸŒธ If youโ€™re auditioning for an animator, please send at least a 30 second example via a PM on CCC.


๐ŸŒธ If you want to be an artist for us, please PM an example.  


๐ŸŒธ If youโ€™re casted as mixer, animator, or artist before the deadline, that doesnโ€™t guarantee a spot as a singer until the deadline.


๐ŸŒธ Please be respectful of everyone and remember to have fun! If you have any question, you can go ahead and send a PM.

  • Final Joining Day

    Hey all, this is a reminder that tonight at 11:59p.m. -6 GMT is the very last moment to join the discord if you're casted/contact either me or Jay-Shay. We're missing one more member at the moment, but if the time rolls over to May 3rd, we will recast.

  • Casted Roles

    This is just one of the final updates saying that Most roles have been accounted for and we're just waiting on a couple of people to show up. That being said, everyone that has been casted should have received an invite to the discord group from either myself or Jay-Shay. If the links don't work, go ahead and send us a message and we'll get a brand new link. That being said, from April 25th to May 2nd is the allotted week to join the discord/PM us for the discord. As soon as May 3rd hits (@-6GMT), we'll recast the roles. -Jay-Shay and Rizun

  • The Grace Period is Officially Over!

    No more auditions will be accepted and we'll be posting roles as soon as possible. I'd also like to say thank you to everyone that posted an audition! I'd also like to take the time to explain that the choices for the roles are largely based on vocal performance, not if the voice fits the typing. Thank you all so much again! -Jay-Shay & Rizun

  • Grace Period Explanations!

    Hello everyone!! The final day for submitting auditions is coming up and we're so grateful to everyone's who auditioned so far. Now that the grace period is happening soon, let's explain what will happen during that time!: ๐ŸŒธ Grace Period expands from April 21 to April 24, ending once -6 GMT ticks over to midnight, making it officially the 25th.) ๐ŸŒธ Auditions will still be accepted until the end of the grace period, however the project will no longer be actively listed on CCC. ๐ŸŒธ Some people may get DMs asking if they could fill a certain role other than their auditioned role (remember: your voice doesn't necessarily have to "fit" the type of role.) ๐ŸŒธ After the grace period, the final results will be announced and DMs will be sent with the discord link!
