On-Camera Host - YouTube Movie Review Videos

On-Camera Host - YouTube Movie Review Videos

Project Overview

I’m looking for a confident and engaging on-camera host for casual movie review content on YouTube. The role involves speaking on camera about different films, giving your thoughts, reactions, and general commentary in a natural, conversational style. The tone should feel relaxed and authentic rather than overly scripted or academic.

The style I’m going for is similar to established movie review channels like Beyond The Trailer, Jeremy Jahns, Chris Stuckmann, Dan Murrell, and 3C Films. That means a balance of personality and structure. Clear opinions, engaging delivery, and a style that feels natural and conversational while still being informative and easy to follow.

Responsibilities:

  • Record on-camera movie review videos

  • Speak naturally and keep content engaging

  • Share opinions clearly and confidently

  • Maintain a consistent tone across videos

Requirements:

  • Comfortable and confident on camera

  • Interest in movies (no expert knowledge required)

  • Clear speaking voice and good presence

  • Basic recording setup (camera, decent audio, lighting)

  • Ability to deliver unscripted or lightly scripted content

Viewership is still relatively low at the moment, so the current rate is set at $60 per hour. As the channel grows and the videos begin to generate more views and revenue, I fully intend to increase compensation accordingly.

If you’re interested, please submit a short sample by reading a few provided lines so I can get a sense of your delivery. Also include your Discord username in your submission so I can easily reach out if you’re a good fit.
