Have you ever played the hit game OMORI? Surely, you've got a favorite character. Let's say you want to voice that character. You could, but there'd be one issue. That character is a completely different gender, and your masculine voice can't pull off sounding as girlish as Mari! It's a pity.
But we fix that today.
OMORI: FLIP THE SWITCH! is a gender bent OMORI AU where it's basically the same as OMORI, but all the characters are the opposite gender. Now, instead of crying about the fact that you can't voice Mari, you can voice Makoto! Of course, voice acting isn't the only option for you guys.
There are various positions to audition for in OMORI: FLIP THE SWITCH!, and I'll list them all below.
VOICE ACTOR/ACTRESS: The main star of the show, what almost everybody wants to be. For this role, it's preferred you have a somewhat clear mic (You can't sound like you're recording mid-hurricane with all that white noise!) and for multiple attempts at each line. When submitting your audition, send a clip of your voice that's at least 30 seconds long, and add your Discord either in the submission notes or in the video. Try your best, and you got this!
ARTIST: What everybody's going to see! For this role, it's preferred that you have an art style similar to that of OMODUBs (but feel free to add your little flare), and make sure you don't AI-generate the art piece. When submitting your audition, send at least 3 pictures of your art, and add your Discord either in the submission notes or in the artwork. Try your best, and you got this!
VIDEO EDITOR: You're the awesome guys who put everything together, and don't get nearly enough credit for it. For this role, it's preferred you can edit skits with captions/subtitles (IDK what those are called) and audible audio. When submitting your audition, send at least 3 clips of your skit edits, and add your Discord either in the submission notes or in the artwork. Try your best, and you got this!
SCRIPTWRITER: Nobody here would have a purpose if it weren't for you guys. For this role, it's preferred that you can write either short skits or long scripts with emotion written in it (Not always sad!), and write on a Google Document. When submitting your audition, send either 3 small skits or 1 long script you wrote, and add your Discord either in the submission notes or in the artwork. Try your best, and you got this!
I can't wait to see what you all put into this project. Without further ado, best luck on your auditions.
