OK K.O. Let's Be Heroes Fandub Casting Call (Main Cast)
Project Overview
Please watch the video above for audition information. You can also feel free to submit your audition right here. Thanks! ^-^
You need a good or at least decent microphone. (Recording on a decent sounding cell phone mic is optional as well, not all staticy and kinda muffled please.) Little to no unnecessary background noise or static.
You must be able to record your voice with the proper tone, emotion tempo and inflection for the character
The voices should be relatively close to the original as possible, but if you’d like to add a little take or spin of your own, then feel free to do so!
Auditioning for more than one character is fine, but the limit is up to three or four.
To send in your audition, link me the video of the desired character(s) in an untitled Youtube video with no background sounds, just your voice. (If you happen to have a Tumblr, alternatively you can save it as a draft and link it for me to have a listen.)
And last but not least… Be a good sport and HAVE FUN!! :D
I might possibly start up auditions for secondary/minor/guest characters maybe two weeks or a month after the first season wraps up and take it into consideration.

(singing to himself)Walkin' after school on my way to Gar'sWalkin' after school on my way to Gar's
Lakewood Plaza Turbo![thinking] I want to be a great hero. How do I become one? Will I wake up as a hero one day? Will I transform into one? No. That's not right. I can't become a hero right away, so I'm gonna learn how by working here at Lakewood Plaza Turbo one step at a time.
Don't worry, guys. I won't be needing to get small again. That's the old K.O. Now I'm finally what I've always wanted to be ever since I was little -- just this morning -- HUGE! Now watch me do big stuff. Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep!
An alien refugee from Planet X and an employee at Gar’s Bodega. He is shown to be a slacker, as he is seen sleeping on the job and moments later, deciding to take a break. He appears to be boastful when he brags to KO about his strength as soon as he met him. It’s been implied he has no sense of direction and at most, unintelligent. He is apparently a big brother figure to KO, but it mostly rubs off to Enid as a unreliable influence. He often shows off his special move like it takes no effort.
It's just a Power Poke. Y'know, a special move.
Uh, shouldn't we tell him that power levels aren't always everything?
Yo, Enid, check out the squirt. Nice face, right?
The female and laid back teen of Gar’s employees. She’s the most responsible of the main trio. She tries to use logic and critical thinking to make rational decisions. Unlike Rad, who seemingly enjoy making fun of KO, she looks after KO and tries to stop him from getting into trouble.
(bored, uninterested tone)That'll be 20 technos. Have a... day.
K.O., don't wave at him. He's evil and a total nerd.
When a dumb nerd and a dumb factory love each other very much, they waste a lot of time and money making dumb robots to attack the plaza.
The loving and powerful single mother of the title character of the series. Probably gave up her hero career after her son was born. Appears to be an authority figure to KO, as she seem to have him figure out the lesson he must learn, instead of telling him directly, which usually wouldn’t help learn anything. The whereabouts of her husband is unknown at the moment.
A pebble and a stream only travels when it's a pebble, not a rock.
Oh, K.O., my precious kale chip. What happened, honey?
Everyone in that binder of yours came from humble beginnings, K.O. I mean, even Mr. Gar has to work hard to become the hero he is today.
The fine proud founder and owner of Gar’s Bodega and manager of Lakewood Plaza Turbo. Has a lot of pride in his work. A strong character and strong personality, very serious and straight to the point, especially about his business and the plaza. Many characters, mostly his employees see him as very wise and admire/look up to him as an authority figure. His serious demeanor tends to come to a halt whenever he’s around Carol, becoming nervous and at a loss for words.
Don't disappoint me.
Mondays, am I right?
You two, get this mess cleaned up.
The main antagonist of the series, he runs a robot factory, “Boxmore Enterprises”, which happens to be right across the block of Lakewood Plaza Turbo. To sum it up, basically he despises friendship because he sees it as a hinderance of a decline to his robot production rates. That and he thinks it’s just plain disgusting. (to him at least XD)
Now to watch from the shadows, like a total creep.
So you're the little twerp claiming to be level 100. HAH! Impossible!
Ernesto 2199, can you not see that I'm trying to focus on getting upset about some kids across the street having fun?!
