(CALLING ALL BEGINNERS!: D) No Werewolfs in the Pool
Project Overview
THIS IS NOT A PROJECT IN WHICH YOU WILL GET PAID, IT'S STRICTLY FOR LEARNING AND HAVING FUN
No werewolfs(yes werewolfs is supposed to be spelled like this hehe) in the pool is a passion project I have had for a while in my head. Its something that I've worked very hard to flesh out and make into a real world. And now I want to offer beginner animators/voice actors/writers a chance to show off their skills!(because let's be honest, I'm an amateur too hehe.)
The story is as follows: a slice-of-life/drama based on the lives of Robert Normans, a lifeguard at the town pool, and Doug Moss, a college student living in the dorms down the street from said pool. The catch? Doug is a werewolf! And there are a lot more mythical beings in this world from different cultures including; werewolf, vampire, fairy, harpie, selkie, Chupacabra, trolls(not from Homestuck, traditional ones) and much more!
Warning: this series will contain many lgbtq+ characters and relationships, if you are not comfortable with that DO NOT APPLY.
This series will tackle some serious and mature topics including; abuse , divorce, faith, prejudice, racism, and others of the like, including some nsfw moments in termas of gore(so if you're sensitive to stuff like this you probably shouldn't participate, sorry. This series is also very character oriented so there will be a lot of character interaction(both physical and social) so animators ,if you apply please make sure you understand human anatomy at least in terms of the basics(which way a hand faces when lying at the side,etc.)
Most importantly, this is a learning project! so have fun and make sure you learn lots if you do get in ok?

Your job would be to animate and fill out the in-betweens of the episodes(which will be 2-3 minutes long essentially)
The program I use is Pencil-2d so it would be very helpful if you also had that program ^^(it's free by the way)
I also require you to have a computer and preferably a drawing tablet as that would increase your accuracy ,however if you can prove you're good with a mouse then I will definitely allow it!

Robert is a tallish man in his late twenties. He has black hair and brown eyes(he's half japanese) but he consistently dyes his hair blond and wears blue contacts. Hes very friendly annd will chat up anyone as long as he has on his contacts and hair dye, otherwise he is very shy and wil avoid eye contact(even with his boyfriend, Doug)Note that you will have to interact with another male in a romantic fashion. If youre not comfortable with that please don't apply.Robert has a middle-pitched to deep voice thats very clear.

I have the basic plot down but I need someone to help me come up with scenarios. not that I will be able to reject any scenarios if I don't think they work with the overall message

Doug moss is short and curvy,despite being male. He's often depicted as wearing crop tops that say girly things on them(he doesnt believe that clothing has a gender and so he doesn't really care, they're cheaper than regular t-shirts.) Of course when he's not wearing crop tops and has to abide by the college dress code me and my current ptroject partner like to dress him up in meme shirts, so if you're auditioning for him i hope your okay with that ^^ He very protective of Robert and his voice still cracks occasionally when he's upset.
He's caucasian and was born in Wales but moved to america when he was very young. His werewolf form is an anthropomorphic corgi.I like to imagine him with a middle-pitch voice thats sort of rough but not too much.

Suzy is the seven year-old daughter of Lucifer(One of the leaders of Hell).She is the embociment of wrath and the definition of tough love.Literally, she hits people and torments them when she likes them(Her favorite method being biting)She more often than not has a for lack of a better term "demonic grin" on her face(sharp teeth and all). However once you get to know her she is a very sweet little girl who simply doesn't know how to express her emotions.
Suzy is mixed-race(half caucasian/half African-American She is very energetic to the point of being manic at times.As such her voice should be a little rough and energetic.

The narrator can be whatever gender and age you want them to be just keep in mind they are a minor character and only appear in one episode (as of right now anyway...)that being the first episode.
