Steban is a wanderer with a reckless taste for adventure. He’s idealistic and sees the good in everyone he meets, although his open-mindedness can also lead him into trouble. He goes his own way and loves his freedom more than anything. But despite his positive demeanour, he’s an escapist and seems to hide parts of himself he doesn’t want others to know about.

Martin is a struggling writer and an intellectual by nature. He’s analytical, investigative and deeply curious about new concepts. He considers himself to be a realist (but really, he’s a pessimist). He struggles with his self esteem, but is highly observant and resourceful, which might lead him to great insights. He’d never admit it, but his self worth relies too much on how others perceive him.

Baltazar is the heart of Oddwind’s community and a natural leader. His solitary and cold demeanour make him hard to get to know, but his charisma has a way of winning others over. Responsible to a fault, he took the town’s fate upon himself. He hates losing control over situations and others, and can be dangerous when he’s in that state. His morals may bend, but his goals never do. He knows what he wants, and he’ll get it.

Billy is Baltazar’s right paw. Known for his loud laughter and aggressive personality, he feels the need to constantly assert his dominance, especially to outsiders. He likes bragging about his courage, but anything occult or unknown scares the life out of him. He’s deeply loyal to those he cares about, especially to Baltazar. He always follows through on his word and promises, for the better or worse.

Faye is the deputy of Oddwind. Although painfully bored by most of her job, she’s in it for the thrills: anything out of the ordinary and potentially dangerous is right down her alley. She’s daring, rational and practical, and can be honest to the point of being insensitive. Patience is definitely not her virtue, and she can get restless when she feels no progress is being made.

Chase is a gambler and a known trouble-maker. He has no problem changing sides whenever it’s convenient to him, especially when money is involved: he’s the one to pick for the dirty work. However, Chase can be surprisingly selfless when it comes to his nephews and seems convinced there’s no other way to provide for them. He currently works for Baltazar.

Marsha is Chase’s oldest niece. Although she’s still very young, she carries a great weight of responsibility: she’s the one who has to hold the family together. She’s bold, responsible to a fault, and knows how to stand her ground when she needs to. She’s also very prideful and rarely recognises when she needs help. She’ll smile through the pain and make you believe everything will turn out alright. She wished her uncle could lead a more honest life, far from Baltazar.

Hank is the second in command of the infamous Desert Scorpions gang. Known all across the land as The Deathstalker, he’s known to be cold-blooded, unpredictable and violent. He’s both an improvisor and a strategist, and has a bite strong as a shark’s. Hank follows his own code and can even grow to respect an adversary. Many of his ideas cause controversy among the Scorpions, which doesn’t help his unsubmissive nature.

 Danny and Sherry are Chase’s nephews and Marsha’s younger siblings.Danny used to be an adventurous and enthusiastic pup before his mother went missing. Now, he’s mostly wary and moody. He keeps a “I’m strong and independent” facade and can’t stand living with his uncle, Chase. But underneath, Danny is very sensitive and carrying, and capable of great bravery.

ester is the Sheriff of Oddwind. Always alert and “on duty”, he doesn’t know the meaning of a day off. Although this might seem bold, he’s cautious and methodic. He does everything by the book, and has a hard time bringing his own personal judgement into the scene. He wants to be the hero everyone else needs, sometimes at the expanse of reflecting over his own true role as a dog of justice. He can’t stand troublemakers and is know to be very hard on them.

Warren is the Blacksmith and a well respected member of Oddwind. He’s a no-nonsense, well set family dog, and openly accepts his role as a community pillar. Always ready to help, he’s welcoming and unprejudiced towards others. He is known to be astonishingly physically strong, and this reputation is enough to keep ill intended dogs away. Thankfully, Warren is mostly a pacifist. However, he can also be very demanding and overly strict, especially to those who work for him or owe him something. He’s the father of Holly and April and rents the attic room to Steban.

Solomon is the leader of the duo, with a fiery temper and a strong will,

Rocco is a more cautious (but also aggressive) type. They balance each other out and have a good partnership, but since they earned themselves a price for their heads, things haven’t been so easy.

He's a very straight-to-the-point guy, seasoned and practical to an almost extreme degree. He can be really scary (and honestly, it's like he enjoys that) but trust him, he's very good at what he does!He has a different story for each time someone asks him how he lost his leg. Edgar was the one who built him a very functional prosthetic.
