Ninjago Villains
Project Overview
Ninjago Villains is a 16 episode LEGO Ninjago stop motion parody series that will be uploaded onto YouTube. Co-written by C.Mea and produced by Psyoid. It pokes fun at elements of the original LEGO Ninjago work while expanding it in a number of ways, featuring a number of unique plot-lines.
A wide range of characters have been applied here though this is not the full cast. There are an even wider range of characters with one off lines that have not been listed here. Cast voice actors might be asked to fulfil those. If you auditioned for a role but were not selected but your submission matched one of these unlisted roles then you may be contacted to fill them instead.
All roles are in the English language and all voice actors must be at least passably versed in it.
Each cast voice actor will be featured in the credits of each video's ending segment they appear in as well as the description of said episode.
FILE TYPES AND QUALITY CONTROL:In order to encourage a higher quality library of vocal audio in the project and a greater ease of the editing process there are some rules to observe.
Audio files only in either the mp3 or WAV formats.
Basic background noise removal is required for any audition with copious extra unwanted noise.
The audio must be balanced.
The current deadline for this casting call is the 22nd of November 2024. It might be extended if enough interest is shown but not all roles are filled. Voice actors who have been cast in roles will be notified and sent scripts by the 1st of December 2024.
All voice lines must be recorded and sent in before the 1st of January 2025.

Nya is an energetic person with a lot of optimism.... at first. She has a lot to be frustrated about with the way her life was going and that anger has just begun to boil over. She has 10 lines.

Cold, low, raspy and with a resonant tone. The Overlord is a violent maniac hiding behind a veneer of civility and guile. He drags his words out and sounds like he's about to break out into a coughing spree. He has 11 lines.

A mysterious, dark and cold individual that always keeps his calm. He is an unrepentantly ruthless killer yet often has an oddly wise word or two to spare for anyone willing to stop and listen. He has 20 lines.

A smug and overconfident individual who is quite frankly out of her depth. A lot of her actions are guided by an undercurrent of nervousness that she can't quite fully shake, though does her best to conceal. Harumi has 25 lines.

Unagami is the self-centred, mentally preoccupied type of person to be utterly callous to all those around him for the sake of his own amusement. He's not a nice person and he knows that, he just doesn't care. He has plans to become a narrator, one day. Unagami has 49 lines.

Chen is an archaeologist; he's mature, calm and level headed. He harbours a great curiosity, however, one that might drive him to lengths one might never consider to fulfil. Chen has 16 lines.

Lloyd is having quite the nostalgic time, it seems. He's usually he sort of generally tired, disappointed and almost nihilistic person who's sure they've seen it all. He has a cold, calculating personality that won't miss a single detail. Though he wasn't always like this. Lloyd has 39 lines.

Mr. He is a mysterious, intelligent yet soft spoken individual who speaks with a distinctly female voice. They possess a calculating mien with an eye for detail, overlooking them is a detrimental choice of action. Mr. He has 18 lines.

The First Spinjitzu Master, TFSM, is a divine entity of unknown age and origin. He adopts a genuinely calm, caring and mindful bearing that makes it very hard to dislike him. He has a lot of confidence in himself. He has 14 lines.

Nadakhan is a flamboyant yet very famous fashion designer turned criminal on the run. He sustains his generally aloof and distant persona in tone yet uses very familiar language in conversation with others. Nadakhan has 20 lines.

Killow is a suck up and a minion, through and through. He's quick to follow the lead of others and oftentimes presents an almost cowardly attitude in his day to day life. When the chips are down, however, he would die for a cause he could believe in. He speaks like a Cockney thug. Killow has 11 lines.

Ultra Violet is a rebellious, violent thug with a chip on her shoulder twice her size. She speaks lazily and won't put up any extra effort into something she doesn't have to. She speaks like a Cockney thug. Ultra Violet has 6 lines.

Scheming and plotting, Lord Garmadon is one of the series' primary antagonists. He's calm, collected and with a hint of cruelty though this might not be all there is to him. Lord Garmadon has 68 lines.
