Ninja Gaiden NES Opening Revoiced/Remastered
Project Overview
I'm making a re-edit of the opening cutscene from Ninja Gaiden on the NES.
I just need two short lines, each said by a different character. They should both sound very ninja-esque, so they probably should have Japanese accents. The first is Ken Hayabusa, who is writing a letter to his son, Ryu. Ken shouldn't sound too old, maybe 40's-50's. He sounds very calm as he's writing. He's not worried about dying, he's only worried about his son.
Ryu is the protagonist. He's maybe early 20's, you know, the ninja-warrior type. He's just read the letter from his dad and he's both distraught about his death, but also determined to do the task his father asked him to do.
This is just the intro for now, I don't think I'll do much more with this. If I do, though, the Ryu voice might get a message from me to read more lines. Thanks!

This line is word-for-word what I need, so if you're picked, and the line is good, you don't have to record anything else.
Ryu, I hope one day you'll understand. I'm leaving now to duel another man to the death. If it is my destiny that I do not return, you must go to America to see my friend Walter Smith. Take the Dragon Sword with you, Ryu. It has been passed down in our family since before we were called Hayabusa. It belongs to you now. Ryu, always be brave…
Ryu is the protagonist. He's maybe early 20's, you know, the ninja-warrior type. For the first line, he's just read the letter from his dad and he's both distraught about his death, but also determined to do the task his father asked him to do.
The second line is only to test if you'd be good at playing the character for a larger project. It's unlikely I'll do much more with this, though, so that line is optional.
Father… I WILL get my revenge!
Father's eyes... he's not himself. He has to be controlled by something else, but what is it?
