Neon Genesis Evangelion Alternative Saga (NGE Abridged series)
Project Overview
I'm putting together an abridged-series based on Neon Genesis Evangelion. The basic premise is "What if the family dynamics and character relationships were more wholesome?" and it only gets more whacky from there.
Episode 1 and Episode 2 are live, and scripts for Episodes 3-7 have been completed. I have made extensive notes for the entire series, including the movies up to The End of Evangelion, with tentative concepts in mind for Reduild of Evangelion.
For Episode 3, the most important role to be cast is Hikari Horaki, followed by Kensuke Aida and Toji Suzuhara.
All of the test-lines have been taken from the original Evangelion series or Rebuild as to keep the contents of the script under-wraps until such time as the cast is finalized and the episode can be published.
Most of the voices are based on the ADV dub, but some deviate rather heavily, and will be noted as such.
Will not currently be a paid role, but it may be in the future if further Patreon support can be garnered.

High-pitched pubescent voice of a guy who knows he's an absolute dork but has done nothing to change it. Smart, but speaks in an unsophisticated manner.
He’s mean huh? His little sister was injured the last time you and your robot fought a battle. Well, that’s his excuse anyway.
Toji was real sorry about everything. His kid sister really tore him a new one. She said it was the robot that saved her life. That must be pretty embarrassing, getting yourself chewed out by a second grader. Right?
Geez! Being beaten up must have really messed him up.
Voice thick as honey, sounds like he thinks he's a real smooth operator, but is actually kind of a dork. Try it with a Brooklyn accent/Joey Wheeler impression.

Young woman, mid-to-late twenties, who's seen too much shit in her short life. Naive former Catholic. Slightly irritated by humanity, mildly worn out by life. Finds a spark in her combatting of the Angels and her relationship with Shinji. Auditions should be based on the ADV dub primarily.

Professional, but easily frightened and a bit shrill when under pressure. Calm, but sounds much too young for her position of responsibility.
Any new position from which you view your reality will change your perception of its nature. It's all literally a matter of perspective.

A female version of David Hayter's Solid Snake voice, or Cam Clarke's Liquid Snake. Harsh and arrogant.
A good singing-voice is encouraged, but not required.

Super smooth operator, very much a James Bond type of character. Is exactly as suave as he thinks he is. Deep, but somewhat playful tone. I won't turn away prospectives who can't do a decent British accent. If you can't, just read it out in your native accent.
