Vector the Crocodile (ベクター・ザ・クロコダイル, Bekutā za Kurokodairu?) is a character that appears the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic crocodile and the current director and head honcho of the Chaotix Detective Agency, which he founded with his close friends Espio and Charmy.

In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics, Charmy Bee was the prince of bees of the Golden Hive Colony. He felt pressured by his upcoming royal responsibilities and ran away from home, making his way to Angel Island. He found himself becoming a member of the Chaotix and assisted the group on Angel Island for time before returning home. When Golden Hive Colony was destroyed by the Eggman Empire, Charmy survived along with his fiancé, Saffron, and the two fled to Knothole. Along with other members of Chaotix, Charmy was taken prisoner during an attack on Knothole by Dr. Eggman that resulted in the city's destruction, but was subsequently rescued. He was also briefly subjected to the effects of the Egg Grape Chamber before he was freed.

Saffron Bee is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a young mobian bee from the former Golden Hive Colony and is also one of Charmy Bee's earliest friends. She was also his fiancée, but Charmy fled from his family and friends to avoid his royal responsibilities.

Lien-Da was an Echidna soldier and the Grandmaster of the Albion Dark Egg Legion and a cousin of Knuckles and descendant of Dimitri. Powerful and ambitious, Lien-Da spent years scheming her way through the ranks of the Dark Legion from the time she was a teenager, beginning with the assassination of her step-mother Mari-Su. After her great ancestor Dimitri's health took a turn for the worse, and her brother Kragok was killed, Lien-Da was in a position to become Grandmaster. Her rule of the Legion lasted less than a year however, as her nephew Remington eventually became a Legionnaire and separated the group into two factions, one under his rule, leaving Lien-Da as Grandmaster of only half the Dark Legion. Recently, Lien-Da and the Dark Legion had their cybernetic enhancements removed by the new Enerjak, forcing Lien-Da to take drastic measures to re-secure her position of power, forming an alliance with the Eggman Empire. Although Dimitri had been made Grandmaster of the rechristened Dark Egg Legion, she eventually betrayed him and assumed control of it under the Iron Dominion. Lien-Da was badly injured when the Iron Queen detonated her internal cybernetics after she attempted to take over, but Dr. Eggman managed to restore her health and appearance. Consequently, Lien-Da agreed to continue serving the Eggman Empire. After proving her loyalty, Lien-Da was dispatched to Albion with her chapter, and successfully conquered the city before being banished from Mobius by Thrash the Devil as part of his vendetta against the Echidna race.

Lara-Le was the mother of Knuckles the Echidna and ex-wife of the Guardian Locke. Lara-Le became furious with her husband when she realized she was unable to partake in raising him, due to Knuckles having to be trained to become the next Guardian. Lara-Le offered Knuckles as much advice as she could upon Echidnaopolis' return to Mobius Prime, and also helped to get Knuckles together with Julie-Su. Years after divorcing Locke she married Wynmacher, which resulted in mixed feelings from her ex-husband and son. Managing to survive the oppressive Dingo occupation of Angel Island, she was transported to the ruins of Albion with her husband and second child, Knecapeon Mace. She and the majority of Mobius' surviving Echidnas would then be banished through a Warp Ring by Thrash the Devil.

Locke the Echidna is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was the father of Knuckles the Echidna and a prominent member of the Brotherhood of Guardians. A dedicated Guardian, Locke often put the training of his son above the wishes of his wife, Lara-Le, which resulted in their eventual divorce. After Knuckles' training was considered complete, Locke left his son to defend Angel Island alone, while secretly watching him from within the secret base of Haven. Years later, after Haven was discovered by Knuckles, Locke took a more active role in his son's life. When the Brotherhood of Guardians went missing and Knuckles refused to return to Angel Island, Locke took up position of Guardian once more and protected his fellow Echidnas. Locke fell in the line of duty, sacrificing his life to free Knuckles from Doctor Finitevus' hex, enabling Sonic the Hedgehog to defeat Knuckles, who was currently Enerjak, and restore his free will.
