Narrator Needed for Fake Movie Trailer
Project Overview
Hellow everyone! I have a school project where I am creating a 1 minute trailer for a fake movie that I am creating the movie poster for. The perks of going to art school, right? :) ANWAY! I want my assignment to stand out by having some actual voice acting in it which is why I wrote up a short narrative to sort of fake some kind of story. Since I am not actually creating this movie, it just needs to sound convincing and like I do have a story established.
The lines are spoken by what would be the main character monologing about how he ended up where he is and why he is the main character of the story, typical movie trailer BS! There is also a female role to add some diversity and hint at even more story. Lets get started :D

The character should sound worn out like he was thrown into a world that he had to learn and he is alone. Just a suggestion, still handle the lines how you see fit.
In the year 2152, I was in a car crash that put me in a coma. I woke up, 20 years later, to a world filled with the stuff of cheesy 50's sci-fi films. Humans became solely dependant on the technology we had built: Artificial intelligence to maintain our cities, androids to police them and systems to control the weather or put an end to hunger; If we found a problem, we engineered a way of fixing it. But what happens when all our technology realizes we are the problem?
Why didn't you get one? (in reference to the female character not having a medical implant)
Female character, sort of gruff; a definite survivor type. Also, she grew up poor and so would have been jaded towards the world, in general. Sarcastic (I picture the tone and attitude of Ellie from Last of Us.)
About 5 years ago, people started getting medical implants in their heads. Sort of like the ultimate vaccine for every disease we know of. But "Leviathan" used them to poison anybody who had one, instead.
I was lucky enough to be born poor.. We fixed a lot of problems but never poverty. New technology was for the rich. Ironically, the people who couldn't afford the latest and greatest are some of the only ones left.
