Naikana: Animation Pilot

• The story follows the lake where Hasano lives in. Hasano is basically a merman, to be simple. He is best friends with the princess of Naikana, Naomana (Nay-oh-mah-nah, Nao for short) 

He comes to the shore to eat with his mom but instead he finds his mother wounded and a mysterious man looming over her with a bloody sword in his hand. Hasano is horrified and cries out.

His mother, with the strength she has left, stops the man from going near Hasano, and uses her water control ability to push Hasano back into the lake.

The man screams “attack” and suddenly everyone is dying around Hasano, he is dodging arrows, etc. Later after the attack, Hasano goes back to where his mom was laying, and she's dead. This is a very emotional scene.

A horse and a soldier comes up to the lake and calls out to the survivors that the king of the neighbouring kingdom has taken the kingdom of Naikana and the royal family has been basically killed. Hasano is left in shock because not only has his mom died in front of him but now he has heard his best friend, the princess is also dead.

This causes him have a mental breakdown, repeating words, mumbling, then finally screaming bloody murder, causing a bubble to form around him.

He stays in this bubble for 6 years, and when he comes out he wants to kill the man who killed his mother even more. And those are his scenes in the pilot.

• This will be a fully 2D animated pilot. It is still in the storyboarding stage.

• I will give a few lines of Hasano’s in the audition lines. Please go all out and don't be afraid to be a scared traumatized kid who just saw his mother slaughtered in front of him :D

• The first line will be Hasano’s normal voice. (cute, sweet, happy)

• The second line will be Hasano’s horror at seeing his mother lying in blood. (crying in horror)

• The third line will be Hasano having mental breakdown words will be almost a whisper and finally screaming ‘I WILL KILL THEM!’
