My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Godzilla's Arrival is a Crossover and Alternate timeline of the Heisei Godzilla Series but having elements from other kaiju films shown in the showa series that doesn't have Godzilla in but the monster from those film like Mothra, Rodan, Varan, and even Dogora will be canon to this crossover continuity, If you wanna know more on this be sure to check the Godzilla's Arrival Series Timeline to know more on this.
This Film is a pseudo-sequel to Return of Godzilla/Godzilla 1985 but that film in this series is retcon in this Alternate timeline as Mechagodzilla was used instead of the super x to battle Godzilla, again check out the timeline.
it also a sequel to Equestria Girls Film Legend of Everfree but a prequel to the Equestria Girls Tv Series.
