My Hero Kart (My Hero Academia Kart Racing Game Mod)
Project Overview
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
My Hero Kart is a personal hobby project I've been working on for several months now. It's a series of Steam Workshop mods for an indie Kart-racing game called The Karters 2: Turbo Charged, aiming to create the closest thing possible to a My Hero Academia Kart-Racing game.
The mod is released in multiple character packs of 6-8 racers, and will feature an overall total of 70+ racers from across the My Hero Academia universe, each with fully voiced dialogue & multiple costumes. The project will include characters from Class 1-A, Class 1-B, Pro Heroes, Villains, Vigilantes, and many other corners of the series, ranging from fan favorites to more obscure characters.
You may notice that major characters such as Midoriya, and All Might are not included in this casting call. The reason is that for 80% of the characters in this mod, I'm using English Dub voicelines from officially released games Like One's Justice 2, All's Justice, & Ultra Rumble for the majority of the racers. The characters in this casting call are racers I want to add to this mod, but have no voicelines from official media for me to work with.
That's where YOU come in.
I'm looking for voice actors who can closely match the English dub performances of these characters while also bringing energy and personality to the role. If you're a fan of My Hero Academia and enjoy character voice matching, I'd love to hear your auditions.
I will be adding additional characters to this Casting Call in the future as a sort of "Part 2" casting for future character packs. For now, I'm focusing on the racers that will be in Character Packs 7-9. If you wish to audition for this project but don't see a character you wish to try out for, please follow the project. You never know, The second batch of characters might have someone interesting...
QUALIFICATIONS
In order to try out for this mod, you must have the following...
A Decent quality microphone and recording space with no echo, PC fans, or background noise. Auditions with excessive background noise or a low-quality mic may be disqualified. No exceptions.
A Venmo or Paypal account to receive payment. (I will not make an exception for any other form of payment.)
A Discord Account so I can send you the scripts, give direction & feedback, & send any other project information.
The ability to produce audio in 24-Bit, 48000 Khz, Mono, .WAV format.

Voice Actor
Burnin' is a hero sidekick who works alongside Endeavor, one of the strongest and most prominent Pro Heroes in Japan. She's also the #1 ranked Sidekick in the country.
Burnin' is energetic, cheeky, passionate, and has a (No pun intended) fiery personality that tackles every situation with confidence and intensity.
I'm looking for a voice actress that can not only sound similar to her, but capture the same style and energy of her English dub voice. A voice that is bright, and expressive with enough projection to communicate authority and confidence without becoming overly harsh or aggressive. She should sound like someone who can easily command a room (or a group of hero rookies) while still maintaining a playful and approachable side.

Mandalay serves as the leader and responsible member of the Wild Wild Pussycats. She's composed, intelligent, and deeply attentive to the emotional and physical state of those around her, especially her little cousin Kota.
Like her English Dub, Mandalay's voice should have a medium, mature range with line delivery that's calm, responsible, & compassionate, even in high stress situations like villain attacks or nearly getting blasted by a rocket launcher by a hostile kart racer...

Ragdoll is considered the bubbly and hyperactive one of the Wild Wild Pussycats. She often serves as the source of encouragement for her fellow pussycats and aspiring heroes.
Ragdoll should sound upbeat and genuinely friendly, with an energetic curiosity about the world around her. She gets excited easily and isn't afraid to show emotion. Imagine a warm, energetic little sister type that wants everyone around her to succeed & be happy.

Of the Wild Wild Pussycat members, Pixie-Bob is the most outwardly enthusiastic member of the team. She has a playful, almost theatrical personality, frequently teasing others and speaking in an exaggerated way, especially when she’s excited, hyped up, or trying to find a "mate." (Mandalay's words not mine.)
Pixie-Bob's voice should have a medium-high range voice and speak like she's animated, and slightly over-the-top, like she’s performing a skit.

Probably the most visually unique student amongst the UA first years, Manga is a Class 1-B student that has a quirk that let him materialize onomatopoeia with various effects based on the words he says.
For this character, I need a medium ranged teenage boy voice that says "I'm the walking personification of a comic book." A voice that is energetic, humorous, animated, & dramatic. This character will have your standard racing dialogue but will also have expressive comic-like zingers such as "VROOM VROOM!!", "ZAP!", "KA-BLAM!" , or just "BOOM!" The more cartoony, and over the top you can say these lines, the better.

Setsuna Tokage (Hero name: Lizardy) is a Class 1-B student, who according to MHA lore books is considered one of, if not the most talented and skilled student in her entire class. She's known to have a sharp wit, bold personality, and tends to be chatty and slightly provocative while being a very tactical thinker.
I'm looking for a voice that's similar to her English dub voice. A Medium pitch voice with hints of a cheeky, confident attitude, but serious & competitive when it matters.

Kinoko (Hero name: Shemage) is a cheerful and somewhat eccentric aspiring hero with a fascination for Japanese Idols, and anything & everything related to mushrooms and fungi. She has a quirky, whimsical personality and often approaches situations with an innocent enthusiasm while sprinkling mushroom-related puns in her dialogue.
Komori should sound sweet, energetic, and a little unusual with a dash of goofiness thrown in. She should sound like she has a balance between adorable enthusiasm, and the occasional hint that she's more formidable than she lets on.

Kuroiro is from Class 1-B, and is known for being a bit of an instigating troublemaker with a habit of speaking dramatically and theatrical, similar to his Class 1-A rival, Tokoyami. Like Tokoyami, Kuroiro plays up his dark aesthetic and can sometimes come across as a little edgy with an interest in dark humor. Dispite this, he can be a sociable guy that enjoys having fun with his classmates, ...IF he's not starting trouble with them for his own amusement that is.
Kuroiro's voice should have a medium range with a relaxed, and slightly mischievous quality. His delivery should have a sense of swagger to it, as if he's enjoying whatever situation he's found himself in.
His voice should feel somewhat theatrical without becoming excessively exaggerated. He occasionally emphasizes certain words or phrases for dramatic effect, particularly when talking about darkness, shadows, or his own abilities.

Kodai is known for being calm, quiet, and always having a stoic demeanor with little emotion on her face, except in rare circumstances.
Yui should have a low-medium vocal range with a calm, reserved voice. One where she rarely feels the need to fluctuate her tone unless in times of serious danger or high-stress combat. Her lines should be delivered in a measured, matter-of-fact manner. Small changes in tone should carry significant meaning, making subtle moments of amusement, concern, or determination stand out.
She's also known for usually saying "Hmm" and "Mmm" in response to everyday conversations. I need a VA that knows how to take these simple dialogue hums and give them emotion. Remember, this character is deadpan with carefully contained feelings, not emotionless.

Pony is a Class 1-B student and one of the few characters in the series that comes from outside Japan (America to be precise.) She's cheerful, friendly, and generally very well-meaning, even though she can sometimes be a little awkward or easily flustered.
Pony should sound like your average teenage girl with a medium/Medium-High vocal range. Her voice should sound youthful, bright, & energetic with a naturally friendly and approachable quality.
Since Pony is American, I'm want her to have a natural American-Sounding English accent. I can make an exception for a voice with a bit of Texas/Southern flair to it, but she shouldn't talk like she has a heavy regional accent as if she's from from Boston, The Bronx, or Southern California.

Reiko Yanagi (hero name: Emily) is a Class 1-B student whose known for being the mysterious one of her class. She's quiet, reserved, and tends to keep her emotions subdued while having a strong fascination with anything spooky or supernatural.
Reiko's voice should sound low-to-medium in range with a soft, somewhat monotone quality. Her delivery should be calm and deliberate, with very little unnecessary emotion or inflection. However when she's in an action heavy situation (Firing a weapon, Driving over a boost-pad) subtle changes in tone and inflection can help communicate her personality without making her overly expressive.
