Project Overview
Summary
My Hero Academia: Spark is a audiodrama experience set in a fan-made extension of Kohei Horikoshi's world of My Hero Academia. The story follows the lives of the students attending Extrema Academy, one of the many Hero Colleges located in the United States of America. 10 years have passed since the horrible events that plagued Japan and the rest of the world, and a new threat is finally crawling its way out of the shadows after years of hiding.
About the AuditionThis is wave 2 of the casting call! Since this is an expanding audiodrama, more and more characters will be introduced with each wave. This means there will be more auditions. This current audition is for a random selection of characters. Some of the ones here have more side-roles and will make few appearances, while others are mainstays. Wave 2 contains the same characters as wave 1. Many of the characters here will be present for the whole series, so it's of the utmost importance that we get them right.
Co-Writers and CharactersNot all characters featured here are created by me. While I am the lead writer and will be doing most of the writing, there are others who will write chapters, characters, and dialogue too.

Character Breakdown
A hero-in-training in Extrema Academy’s Hero Division. Known for his sarcasm and reckless streak, Kane rarely takes things seriously, often cracking jokes even in the heat of battle. His blunt attitude and disregard for decorum earn him few friends, but he doesn’t seem to mind. Beneath the bravado, however, lies a strong sense of justice and a deep instinct to protect others, no matter the cost. He acts on impulse, shrugs off consequences, and shows little fear, especially in the face of overwhelming odds. He lives alone above his family's antique shop, which has remained closed since his enrollment, as his father is always away on missions for G.U.A.R.D.
Kane's Quirk, Pendulum, allows him to control the direction and speed at which objects or people, including himself, move through time.

A hero-in-training in Extrema Academy’s Hero Division. Karma’s bright personality and easygoing nature make him a steady, uplifting presence among his peers. Loyal and dependable, he never hesitates to step in when someone needs help. Trained from a young age by his older brother, he lives by a “work hard, play hard” mindset, balancing sharp dedication with a carefree sense of humor that keeps morale high.
Karma’s Quirk, Ignition, allows him to cause the nearby air to spontaneously combust.

Character Breakdown
A hero-in-training in Extrema Academy’s Hero Division. Though friendly and easy to talk to, Harry keeps others at arm’s length, rarely showing what he’s actually thinking. He avoids attention, preferring to observe from the sidelines rather than take the lead. His Quirk, a powerful and dangerous Quirk tied to a sentient apparition, is a constant source of fear and self-doubt. The apparition's harsh voice never lets him forget the risk he poses to those around him. While he claims he wants to help others, part of his drive to become a hero is rooted in fear: of his power, and of losing control.
Harry's Quirk, Freischutz, lets him convert his negative emotions into six powerful bullets, created by a sentient, unfriendly, and disloyal shadow named Samiel that speaks and acts of its own will.

He’s chivalrous to a fault, with a streak of idealism that borders on naïve. In contrast to his serious convictions, he's a loud, goofy presence among friends who's quick with a joke and always ready to lift the mood. His mix of earnest heroism and easy charm makes him both trusted and well-liked.
Leon's Quirk, Photosynthesis, allows him to absorb sunlight and convert it into energy. The stored light increases his strength and can be released in blasts.

Yuna is hero-in-training in the Hero Division of Extrema Academy. From being the heiress to a renowned jewelry empire, Yuna has the air of nobility and elegance befitting of royalty. She is driven by a strong sense of justice and a genuine desire to serve as a hero despite her privileged and sheltered upbringing. Though often oblivious to common social norms and the lives of her peers, she has a strong desire and willingness to learn from them.
Yuna’s Quirk, Diamond, allows her to coat herself in a layer of diamond across her body using the carbon from her diet. This coating greatly enhances her defense and strength.

Her sharp tongue and impulsive nature often get her into trouble, but beneath the tough exterior is fierce loyalty and a hidden softer side.
Cherie's Quirk, Cherry Bomb, lets her grow explosive cherries from her hands. They will detonate 5 seconds after their stems are removed.

As the daughter of Pro Hero Espresso Bean, she’s determined to one day inherit the family agency.
Ace’s Quirk, Caffeine, grants her an increasing boost in speed when she consumes caffeine-based substances.
