Hello, and welcome to the My Hero Academia Wonder Duo VA role play project! My name is Lida and I’m an artist and script writer! This project will focus on the conversations and interactions between Midoriya Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki in POST-CANON scenarios. This is a fan project that I’ve been wanting to do for a while after finally finishing the MHA manga.
My main reason for writing these VA scenes is because I wanted to explore different aspects of Deku and Bakugo’s relationship after the final war is over, mainly how they work through some of the miscommunications they have and having them use “healthy” arguments to resolve them. This includes moments during their last year at UA and after they graduate and become adults! Some scenes will be silly/fun but most of them are serious.
I plan to upload these scenes to a new YouTube channel specifically for projects of this nature. So far I only have two scripts that I would like to do currently but I may make more in the future depending on how well the project does.
I am looking for voice talents that can recreate the emotional tension between these two characters and give a convincing performance.
Important note: If you audition for this project you MUST be comfortable with Deku and Bakugo having romantic interactions (as well as platonic) as a few of the scripts will feature romantic overtones. (Meaning LGBTQ themes)
If this makes you uncomfortable, please do not audition for this project.

Must have a good quality mic (XLR preferably but not required)
Have watched/read up to Season 7 of MHA or manga (unless you don’t care about spoilers)
Have discord as that’s where we’ll communicate
Be friendly and cooperative

The project submitted deadline has officially ended!! I want to send my biggest thanks to everyone who sent in an audition for Deku and Bakugo and those who’ve shown interest in this project. It’ll be a tough decision deciding who will play the lead roles, but I will take the time to go over everything and make a decision asap!! Please look forward to the results soon!

(timidly) Um…have you been avoiding me lately? I mean like, today after we finished dinner in the common room, we were hanging out with everyone and every time I looked over at you, it seemed like you kept turning away from me.
(guilt/sad) It’s because I don’t want anyone else to suffer because of me. I’ve watched the people I care about suffer so much during the war with Shigaraki, and it was all because of me. I don't want that to ever happen again. So it’s better if I just keep it all to myself, that way—
(Fondly) You’re one of the most important people in my life, Kacchan. So being able to talk like this makes me really happy. (Gentle smile)
A loud, hothead that hates to lose and strives to be number #1. After the war, he is now more mellow and not as loud (mostly anyway). He may be rough around the edges, but he has a good heart and wants to make up for how badly he treated Deku when they were kids.
How long are you gonna awkwardly stand by the door? Come sit down.
Just do what you want. I don’t care either way. (Izuku talks) I just said I don’t care! Maybe you should get your damn ears checked, nerd.
You are so full of it!! If that’s true then why do you keep everything to yourself and always smile like nothing’s wrong? You never show me or anyone else how you really feel. What are you, some goddamn robot?!
