My Candy Love - High School Life episode 2 - Fan dub (16+)

What is this?

A fandub of the online Otome Visual Novel, My Candy Love!

The dubbing for episode one is already done, so this is a casting call for the characters, Castiel and Mrs. Shermansky who we didn't manage to cast for the first episode. My goal is to get several episodes dubbed, so please only audition if you are willing to participate in this project in the future. Most of the gameplay elements are kept, but some unnecessary conversations are removed and some of the running around trying to find people is cut out.

This project is unpaid since it is just for fun, but I would still like to get a nice production out of it.

For those of you unfamiliar with the series: My Candy Love is an online visual novel style Otome game made by Beemoov. The game is split into three seasons: High School Life, University Life, and Love Life. You play as Candy, a young woman who recently transferred to a small city. During her time there, she meets various characters, five of whom are possible love interests that she can romance. Which love interest Candy ends up with depends on the various choices you make. Some love interests are easier to get along with than others; each has their own preferences when it comes to flirting. The main goal of the game is to collect illustrations- pictures that represent an important moment in Candy's life. There are a variety of ways to get illustrations, and the amount of illustrations varies from episode to episode.

Working on this project you will be spoiled to the lines of the episode we are working on, so I suggest you go play the first few episodes yourself first, and then you will also have more context to draw from. https://www.mycandylove.com/

Actors must be at least 16 years of age to audition.

Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping.

I am hoping to dub more of the series, so if you audition for the leading or supporting roles, I expect you to be on board for dubbing other episodes to keep the voices consistent. I would like to create a team where we can all become friends while working on this.

Some of these roles will have scenes that will probably involve shouting and or crying, so if you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires.

I have assigned the roles according to the game more as a whole, rather than just for this episode. You can therefore expect the Leading roles to have the most dialog in each episode. The supporting characters appear in almost every episode and will nearly always have dialog. The minor roles will have up to a few lines per episode and extras are more rare appearances, that might have a lot of dialog for single episodes.

2) Please look at the character description first to get into character, before recording the lines. 

3) The word count is for Castiel is for episode 2 only, while the word count for Mrs. Shermansky is for episodes 1 and 2 combined.
