Operetta of the Golden Witch (a musical based on a fan-made chapter of Umineko no Naku Koro Ni a.k.a. Umineko When They Cry)
18 humans trapped on an island, getting killed off. Is the killer a witch and her demon attendants, or is it one of them? On another plane of existence, that is the debate between the witch and her victim.
Now let's put it all to music, shall we? 30 songs, almost all parodies of songs from existing musicals, from Disney to Sondheim to Webber.
It's all written and done. I just want the songs actually sung. A musical without music is just some odd formatting on a page. I don't have the funding to pay, since this is just a pet project of mine, but you're welcome to use the songs in your portfolios once I've mixed them.

Son of Rudolf and Kyrie. A young man of extreme emotions and even more extreme stubbornness. On one plane of existence, he's trapped on an island with his family, their servants, and a murderer. On another plane of existence, he's trying to solve the crimes and debate with a witch about how magic wasn't needed to commit them.

The elderly head of the Ushiromiya family. When lucid, a figure who commands respect by his very presence, yet one who is secretly filled with regrets over his past deeds. When not lucid, filled with a mad desperation to resurrect his lost love Beatrice using black magic.

Mother of Battler, wife of Rudolf. A crafty and cunning manipulator who shows a calm facade that covers deep resentment towards Rudolf's ex-wife.

The heir of the Ushiromiya family. Unfortunately did not inherit the luck and financial cunning of his father, and has embezzled the family funds chasing failed project and scams.

The oldest of Kinzo's adult children. The father of her child ran away before her daughter was born. Sees her daughter with a mix of caring. shame, and misdirected anger.

He also interacts with the spirit of the witch that haunts the island, the one trying to resurrect herself at the upcoming family conference.

A smart wife who is very supportive of her husband, despite his continual financial missteps, and who cares greatly about the honor of the Ushiromiya name. Due to this as well as her rebellious teen daughter, she leads a very stressful life and is subject to terrible headaches.
