MUN Skits (Number 1: Slapping Germany)

Project Overview

MUN Skits or Model United Nations Skits are a series of comedy skits based on the popular Model United Nations (an academic simulation of the UN) about the chaos and fun of a MUN.

This skit takes us back to 1926, when Germany has just joined the League of Nations (the predecessor to today's UN) and how it plays out there, however it is in the setting of a modern day MUN conference.

Latest Updates

  • Apologies for the delay in casting decisions!

    Hey everyone!

I'm here with a quick update - I haven't been able to do any casting yet as I'd like to go around to my irl friends and get an opinion from them.

All of your voices were lovely, making this a really hard choice.

    Thanks for your patience!

France is allies with the UK and one of the victors of WW1 (for context) France is very patriotic. Aside from that, you can make up your own personality for this character!

Please also do a French accent if at all possible, this is a comedy skit so it will add a lot to the role! There is also one french line, but that's the only line in another language.

Language:
  • english
  • french

Germany does not mind much and is very willing to compromise and engage in international diplomacy. Aside from that, you can make up your own personality for this role.

Germany will have two short lines and one very long line.

Please also do a German accent if at all possible as it will add a lot to the role!

  • Ja, I would not mind it

  • The Delegate of Germany would like to thank everyone in the room for allowing us to join the League.

Belgium goes with the flow of UK and France. Aside from that, you can make up a personality for this role.

If you can do a french or belgian-french accent that would be wonderful as it would add a lot to the skit.
