Monthly Girls' Nozaki Manga Dub
Project Overview
This is a dub of un-adapted chapters from Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, starting from Chapter 41, around where the anime stops. I'm only casting the characters in this chapter, but if it goes well I'll have another round for the ones that appear in later chapters. This is an informal dub intended to get practice and to have some fun. I'd love if you lended your talent to our project!

Audition Guidelines
This is a comedy manga so feel free to be over the top and goofy!
There is no need to match the dub precedents for these roles. As long as your voice fits the personality of the character, please audition!
There is no need to have prior knowledge of the source material. However, if you are casted I will expect you to either watch the 12-episode anime or skim the 40 chapters up to the current place in the plot.

Chiyo is a bright, cheerful girl. She constantly struggles to convey her feelings to her crush, Nozaki. In her first effort to confess to him, he mistakenly thought she was asking for his autograph. Since helping his mangaka work as an assistant, Chiyo has continued her attempts at winning his affection, although her endeavors are often fruitless due to a mixture of bad luck and Nozaki's obliviousness. Nevertheless, she does not give up and continues to work hard.
An energetic, airheaded voice would suit her well, but feel free to experiment.

At the table, all I'm thinking about is inking... Oh! The toilet!! I think of him when I'm on the toilet!!
But I know now... that if I told Nozaki... i just KNOW he'll use it as manga fodder, RIGHT?!

Nozaki is a talented manga artist. He is so passionate about manga that his life seems to revolve solely around creating it or doing research for it. However, despite making a romance-oriented manga praised for its sensitivity to girls' feelings, Nozaki has no personal experience in love and is rather blunt towards girls. He appreciates Chiyo's drawing ability, but is apparently oblivious to her crush on him.
A calm, casual voice would suit him well, but feel free to experiment.

Mikoto is popular and seems to have a charismatic, flirtatious personality. However, his true nature is quite timid. While outwardly he flirts with girls shamelessly and confidently, he cringes and becomes embarrassed at his own actions afterwards.
A charming, yet a bit childish voice would suit him well, but feel free to experiment.

Yuzuki is brash and headstrong, sometimes even rude. She also lacks self-awareness and considers herself to be a kind, helpful, and benevolent person. Yuzuki has a way of being the one to make things happen in her environment; this can be seen in other characters' impression of her. Teachers chase and scold her, the basketball team fears her, and some friends like her but find her obnoxious.
An abrasive, cocky voice would suit her well, but feel free to experiment.
