Project Overview
Plot synopsis:
In the distant future, Mankind has colonized space, with clusters of space colonies at each of the five Earth-Moon Lagrange points. Down on the Earth, the nations have come together to form the United Earth Sphere Alliance. This Alliance oppresses the colonies with its vast military might. The colonies wishing to be free, join together in a movement headed by the pacifist Heero Yuy. In the year After Colony 175, Yuy is shot dead by an assassin, forcing the colonies to search for other paths to peace. The assassination prompts five disaffected scientists from the Organization of the Zodiac, more commonly referred to as OZ, to turn rogue upon the completion of the mobile suit prototype Tallgeese.
The story of Gundam Wing begins in the year After Colony 195, with the start of "Operation Meteor": the scientists' plan for revenge against OZ. The operation involves five teenage boys, who have each been chosen and trained by each of the five scientists, then sent to Earth independently in extremely advanced mobile suits (one designed by each of the scientists) known as "Gundams" (called such because they are constructed from a rare and astonishingly durable material called Gundanium alloy, which can only be created in outer space). Each Gundam is sent from a different colony, and the pilots are initially unaware of each other's existence.
The series focuses primarily on the five Gundam pilots: Heero Yuy (an alias, not to be confused with the martyred pacifist), Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei. Their mission is to use their Gundams to attack OZ directly, in order to rid the Alliance of its weapons and free the colonies from its oppressive rule.

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to look at this! I am Testing out my use of my editing, and what better way to do that than to do the entire first episode of Gundam Wing in full, right? I currently have the sound effects and OST needed for a full fandub of the first episode, and for the script, I am just going to take the easy route and use the already existing ocean dub script, which I thought wasn't bad to begin with. This is an ambitious project I am doing, and I hope to get voice actors along with me for this. Now, with that being said, here are some rules for this project:
1.) Have a good quality mic. That means no background noise, white noise, etc.
2.) Have lines completed on the deadline I give you.
3.) Have fun recording!

The most experienced soldier of the Gundam pilots, and the only one born on Earth, Trowa is a quiet but determined person. Patient and calm, he will analyze a situation before acting. He hides his feelings well behind an impassive mask. Despite his stoic demeanor, Trowa developed a close friendship with Quatre Raberba Winner. Symbolically, Trowa is often affiliated with masks; not only because of his neutrality and his talent for infiltrating enemy ranks, but also because of his job as a circus clown—a job where he wears a costume and painted mask. Trowa is also shown to have a strong connection with animals, evidenced by when he first joined the circus. On the battlefield, Trowa attacks his enemies with utter ruthlessness and deadly accuracy.
Now that you've seen me, I can't let you live! My secret mission was to destroy only the spaceport... Now I'll destroy everything!

The boy who is given the codename Heero Yuy is of Japanese descent, a complicated character. His cold, stoic demeanor seems more fitting for a battle hardened veteran than a fifteen-year-old boy. Heero is actually a very kind-hearted young man who keeps his emotions reined in while fighting. On many occasions, Heero espouses the philosophy that being emotional on the battlefield will only result in heartbreak, so soldiers need to be able to fight without caring about their opponents.

I'll escape, no prob. (Get's alert) Alter mission...? That craft is carrying OZ Mobile suits..! Judging by its speed, there's probably three suits on board.

Renowned for his amazing skills in combat, his exploits earned him the title "Lightning Count". A personal friend of OZ leader Treize Khushrenada, Zechs was often the commander of important missions, and received his orders directly from Treize.
One would do just dandy! A hired front-line soldier mustn't rush to battle.
(Surprised) He blew away two Ares with just one shot?! Not too shabby...
We were up against a mobile suit made of Gundanium! It's true. Just imagine if it was made by the colonies. (After conversing with Treize) Gundams are on Earth!

Duo is the pilot of XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe. He wears his hair in a thigh-length braid and his signature outfit is a pair of dark, flared jodhpurs and a cassock-style shirt with a white turtleneck shirt underneath (giving it the appearance of a clerical collar). On the exterior, Duo seems like a happy, charming, relaxed, and laid-back jokester, and for the most part he is; however, he is also a complex person with a terrible childhood that he hides from those close to him. He also deeply cares for his comrades and is never afraid to rush to their aide in battle.
This is Duo here, I've destroyed the main monitor! Now I Just have to slice my way out of this battle!

With high expectations, human beings leave Earth to begin a new life in space colonies. However, the United Earth Sphere Alliance gains great military powers, and soon seizes one colony after another, in the name of justice, and peace.
The year is After Colony 195, “Operation Meteor”. In a move to counter the Alliance’s tyranny, rebel citizens of certain colonies scheme to bring new arsenals to the Earth, disguising them as shooting stars.
However, the Alliance headquarters catches on to this operation.

The female lead of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The last surviving female heir to the throne of the Sanc Kingdom, she meets Gundam pilot Heero Yuy by chance and becomes entangled within the war between the colonies and Earth, learning of her true past and becoming the leading voice for the future. Once a rich, wistful girl, Relena grows more mature throughout the series as she learns the truth about her past and takes an active role in rebuilding the future.
Father, next time we go out to space, how about leaving yourself a little bit of free-time?
(Shouts) Father, don't you realize my birthday is coming up soon?! (Calms down) The average girl would probably flip over this...

Out of all of the Gundam Pilots, Quatre seems the most well-adjusted of the group, generally displaying a kind, humble personality, as shown in the Japanese version, he uses the personal pronoun "Boku", a humble but weaker pronoun, compared to the pronoun "ore" that the other pilots use. . As a firm believer in the ideal of pacifism, he is a reluctant soldier who often expresses sorrow whenever he is forced to kill his enemies.
Give up your weapons and surrender, and I'll spare your lives!

Considered the primary antagonist in the series, his name is derived from the French word for "thirteen". A calm, calculating man, Treize is a complex individual, playing both the chivalrous, anachronistic knight and the ruthless tyrant. On the surface Treize is cold and reserved, rarely letting his emotions get the best of him. He professes a love for war, believing that when properly conducted, it brings out the best in humanity. He expresses an interest in honor and chivalry comparable to that of an old-fashioned aristocrat, believing that one should settle matters of honor in single combat, and considers himself a gentleman. This is juxtaposed with his ruthlessness in pursuit of his ambitions and his utter lack of scruples when it comes to holding onto power. Beneath the surface, he is fanatically loyal to his friends. He dislikes hurting people, and suffers a great deal of guilt over the deaths he has caused. He also seems to have some difficulty recognizing, and dealing with, his own emotions.

Something like this would never have happened if you and I had been here at OZ fifteen years ago, that much is for certain.
