Tamatoa is a giant crab who is obsessed with shiny things and is very shiny himself. very, very shiny. one side of him uses shiny objects to attract fish but the other side does it because, well... SPARKLES, HONEY! He also doesn't care AT ALL about anything deep, no pun intended. listen to your heart? who cares!!! just be shiny!
