MLD Recast

Bad news. MLD has been put on another delay. I want to apologize for how long it’s been. I never intended for it to take, what has it been, almost a year now? Gah, I’m so sorry. When I started out on this project, it was a big step, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. However, I have a good feeling that once the first episode is out, you guys won’t have to wait nearly as long for the second, fingers crossed. The first thing was that it took longer to cast than I had expected. Luckily, I’ve casted up until the fifth episode, so, as long as I don’t have to do any more recasting for that, we won’t have to worry about that at all.Second, the script wasn’t ready when casting was done, and that, obviously, put a huge gap in production. However, Lillie, my writing partner, has already begun adapting the second chapter into a script, and I’m considering asking another friend of mine to come on with scripting to make it go even faster.Then, art was a major issue. I had simply sent off the scripts to the different artists and just had them claim what images they wanted, so that they could pick and choose what they could handle. This was a good idea in my head, but proved to be very disorienting and disorganized. It’s too late to remedy that for the pilot, but I have an idea that I think will be a lot better for the second episode.Finally, recasting. These situations could not have been foreseen and in many cases couldn’t be avoided. Which brings me to our latest setback.Unfortunately, TheFanficFanPony won’t be continuing the project. For those of you who don’t know, she was the speaking and singing voice of both Lady Bug and Sunrise. I’m not too worried about Sunny, as she won’t appear until the second episode, but I need to replace Lady IMMEDIATELY. You guys know the drill be now, but I’ll say it here again. I have listed a few lines in the description that you'll need to say and how they should be said. Please send either a .mp3 or .WAV file, as I can't edit anything other than that, named with the project acronym, the name of the character you’re auditioning for, and the name you'd like to be credited as.Ex: MLD_Sunrise_User123 If you know how to do the Changeling vocal edit, at the end of your Lady Bug audition, include an edited version of the last line. If you don’t know how to do this, don’t worry about it.
