> Miraculous: The Tales of Storm Bug is a fan-made animated series inspired by the original Miraculous Ladybug universe — but with a brand-new main character, original villains, unique stories, and a growing team of heroes!
This series follows Israel Rhines, an ordinary teen who becomes the new holder of the Ladybug Miraculous in a new city. When the villain Darkshadow threatens to steal every Miraculous, Israel must step up as Storm Bug, unite with other young heroes, and protect both his city and the multiverse.
Unlike other fan series, this project has a deep story arc, family-centered drama, epic unifications, and a powerful new villain hiding behind a business empire. We explore themes like responsibility, courage, identity, and trust — all while honoring the classic Miraculous style with transformations, Lucky Charms, and cool monsters-of-the-week.
This is a passion project built with love and creativity — and I’m currently looking for a team of voice actors, artists, editors, colorists, and music/SFX editors to help bring it all to life.
All contributors will be fully credited, and this is a great chance to build your portfolio, collaborate with fellow fans, and be part of a unique animated series made by fans, for fans. Episodes will be uploaded to YouTube and TikTok, and we may do livestreams or trailers for special releases!

I’m looking for a digital colorist to help bring my animatic scenes and character drawings to life with color! This is for my animated fan show, Miraculous: Tales of Storm Bug. I will provide line art and flat character references — your job will be to add flat or shaded colors depending on the scene.
Style is inspired by the Miraculous Ladybug show and its spin-offs, so clean, saturated colors and smooth digital shading are a plus. I may request coloring for individual characters, backgrounds, or full animatic panels.

🧑 Civilian Description:
Age: 15
Personality: Confident and a little hot-headed, Diego is the protective older brother who acts tough but is always looking out for others. He’s impulsive but brave, and he jumps into danger without hesitation.
Voice Type: Mid-to-deep teenage male voice. Assertive, cool, and slightly cocky, but can shift to serious or caring when needed.
Tone Suggestions: Like a teenage superhero who thinks he's got it all figured out — but is still growing into
his role.
“Time to rain on your parade!”

🎙️ SOPHIE BENNETT – Miss Puppy
👧 Civilian Description:
Age: 15
Personality: Bright, cheerful, and compassionate, Sophie always sees the best in people — even when they don’t see it in themselves. She loves animals, friends, and helping others, but don’t underestimate her courage.
Voice Type: High to mid-high teenage female voice. Full of energy and warmth, but can shift to determined and sharp when serious.
Tone Suggestions: Think friendly and lovable — like someone who bakes cookies and then kicks butt ri
ght after.
(Civilian) “Kindness doesn’t make you weak. It means you’re strong enough to care.”
(Victory) “That’s how you do it! Sit, stay, and out of my city.”
🕴️ DAMIEN LUX – Civilian Identity of Darkshadow
👤 Civilian Description:
Age: Late 30s to early 40s
Personality: Calm, charming, and intimidating — Damien is a wealthy tech mogul who hides his true motives behind a mask of professionalism. In public, he’s smooth, persuasive, and highly respected. Privately, he's cold, calculating, and always one step ahead.
Voice Type: Deep, rich, and smooth. Speaks slowly and precisely, with the confidence of someone used to being listened to. Slightly menacing undertone, even when polite.
Tone Suggestions: Think Lex Luthor or Kingpin — polished but quietly
dangerous.
1. (Public speech) “Innovation is the future. And as long as I’m at the helm, that future is in safe hands.”
2. (Private warning) “I advise you to stay out of things you don’t understand. You wouldn’t want to disappear... like the others.”
3. (To himself) “They think I’m just another CEO. They have no idea how powerful I’ve become.”
🦹♂️ Villain Description:
Role: Main antagonist — secretly seeking to steal every Miraculous and control the multiverse
Personality: Ruthless, strategic, and theatrical. As Darkshadow, he drops the businessman act and becomes a commanding villain who manipulates others into doing his bidding. He’s dramatic, speaks with purpose, and often monologues.
Voice Type: Still deep and smooth, but more intense. Sometimes echoes or distorts slightly (if you want effects).
Tone Suggestions: Cold and powerful. Occasionally sarcastic or dramatic. Every word sounds like a warning or
threat.
(To an akumatized villain) “Your pain... your anger... I will make it useful. Serve me, and I will grant you the power they denied you.”
“Let them think they’ve won. The true game is just beginning.”
“You’re not a hero. You’re a child playing dress-up — and I devour children like you.”
🐝 JAIDEN RHINES – Mademe Bee
👧 Civilian Description:
Age: 18
Personality: Mature, confident, and assertive. Jaden is like the second parent of the Rhines family — protective of her siblings and not afraid to put someone in their place. She's stylish, serious about her responsibilities, and has no time for nonsense.
Voice Type: Strong, mid-to-deep female teen voice with clear authority. Speaks with confidence and sharp delivery.
Tone Suggestions: Think “big sister leader energy” — poised but fierce when needed. Someone who can shut things down with a single sentence.
“Buzz On!”

“I don’t care who started it — I’m finishing it. Back off.”
👦 Civilian Description:
Age: 15
Personality: Laid-back, cool-headed, and the kind of person who doesn’t say much — but when he does, it matters. He’s smart, kind, and makes decisions carefully. He’s also supportive of Israel and takes being a Miraculous holder seriously.
Voice Type: Mid-teen male voice. Relaxed, smooth, with a calm rhythm. He doesn’t rush to speak but always sounds grounded.
Tone Suggestions: Like someone who thinks before he speaks and acts when it counts — kind of like Miles Morales-style chill but reliable.

Age: 7
Role: Akumatized Villain (Episode: Origins Part 1 – SodaStream)
Personality Type:
Lea: Sweet, sensitive, soft-spoken, and often ignored. Wants to be accepted but struggles with loneliness.
SodaStream: A magical tantrum brought to life — loud, emotional, and chaotic. Her pain turns into bubbly destruction.
🎤 Voice Direction:
Voice actor must switch between:
A gentle, soft-spoken child (Lea) who is sad and emotional
And a loud, chaotic, tantrum-throwing villain (SodaStream) with unstable rage and wild energy
“Can I get a soda, Mom? Just this once—please?”
(Disappointed and a little crushed) “Juice? But I always get juice…

DESCRIPTION:
Hi! I’m Izzy, a young animator and creator working on Miraculous: The Tales of Storm Bug, an original animated fan project inspired by the Miraculous universe. I’m looking for a passionate 2D animator to help bring my story to life!
You’ll be animating characters and scenes based on existing storyboards and designs. Style is anime/cartoon hybrid (think Miraculous with a twist).
