Project Overview
Bridgette Xingyun is seventeen years old when her parents pick up and move her from her home in Guangzhou, moving to Paris for her Father's work. However, the city hides secrets- magical ones! After finding a gemstone that allows her to become the Miraculous Ladybug, she must find a way to fight against the forces of an evil, that might not actually be the true evil... in fact, she may find the the true villain is much closer to home than she ever imagined...

Bridgette Xingyun is seventeen and recently immigrated from China. While a Manderin accent is a bonus, it is not required, please don't try to fake one.
Bridgette is emotional, clever, and has tendencies to be childish or selfish at times. She is in love with love, and with Felix Malheur. She likes being the Ladybug, and is a painter in her free time. She is close with Alyssa Moreau, and often at odds with Claude Mutismo.
I mean, what does this whole ‘Ladybug’ thing even have to do with me in the first place? It’s not like you’ve explained a lick, other than simply telling me to keep the earrings on at all times, and that I’m ‘the new Ladybug’ now!

Felix Malheur is eighteen and has lived in Paris his whole live
Felix is logical, sarcastic, and very focused on right and wrong. He took on the Chat Noir ring, but accidentally committed manslaughter, losing Ladybug's trust- sadly, he is slowly falling in love with her. He likes being Chat, and wants his life to go back to normal, but likes getting a chance to make a difference. He is close with Tibby Harris, and arch enemies with Claude Mutismo. Trans and cis guys both welcome to audition.

They are the person put in charge of holding the Miraculous, but lost them. They are absentminded, funny, and a fan of superheroes.
Heroes come and go in the strangest of times. And now, they were coming for one reason - not that they were aware yet.
Tikki was thirteen at time of death, and has a child's voice.
Tikki is sweet, and innocent at first glance, but has many secrets, and has a darker motive than originally visible. She is a Kwami, a type of fairy that powers the Miraculous. She is Bridgette's mentor.

Plagg is violent, but upfront about it. He doesn't have hidden intentions, for the most part, and was a killer and thief in life. He is a Kwami, a type of fairy that powers the Miraculous. He is Felix's demon and tormentor.

Ephraim is fifty-three, and has lived in China his whole life. Same as with Bridgette on the accent.
Ephraim is a businessman, husband, and father. He's very kind and very emotional about his family. His wife and daughter are his entire world. He fell in love with Emaline Bellevue when she was in college at Hong Kong, and married her shortly after.

Emaline is a housewife, and craves a stable life. She loves her family very much, and likes to take care of her daughter. She is compassionate, and daydreamy. She has become estranged from her father.

Alyssa is seventeen, and has lived in Paris her whole life
Alyssa is athletic, friendly, and compassionate. She's slightly out of touch with her surroundings. She is close to Bridgette Xingyun, and in love with Tibby Harris. She dislikes Felix Malheur and Claude Mutismo.

History. Don’t worry, you’ll like him, nearly everyone does. He likes to teach literature too, sometimes, and he has these pigeons that he lets students pet!

Claude is eighteen, and has lived in Paris his whole life
Claude is rambunctious, outgoing, and slightly socially oblivious. He is a good person at heart, but has trouble connecting with people, and is desperate to please his supervillain father. He becomes a hero midway through the series. He has few close friends, though he counts Felix Malheur among them. It's not mutual. He is transgender.

Arouet is twenty-nine, and has lived in Paris his whole life
Arouet is a supervillain, but not a bad guy. He has birds that he loves very much, and tries to be a good teacher to his students. He fights for the freedom of animals.

Heinrich is seventy-three, and has lived in Paris his whole life
Heinrich is a supervillain, but was once a hero before he discovered the true nature of the Miraculous. He is the father to Emaline, and grandfather to Bridgette. He believes he is doing the right thing, and holds much power.

Nooroo was seventeen at the time of death. He has a teenage voice.
Nooroo is mysterious, and keeps many secrets, but is, at the end of the day, an overdramatic teenage boy who made a lot of mistakes in his life. He died sacrificing himself to fix those mistakes, but can't remember. He says all he remembers are a pair of grey eyes. Nooroo is angsty, overexcitable, and very close to Heinrich.

Kendare is smart, and has a powerful sense of justice. She works as a librarian. She becomes Cerebus, the supervillain, after her beloved dog is murdered by PETP, People for the Euthanization and Torture of Pets. She is killed by Felix Malheur.
Th-the PETP trucks? No… no, he was inside! They wouldn’t have actually broken in… right? Right?

Jacque is Felix's younger brother. He loves to piss Felix off. He is athletic, popular, and clever, but has a tendency to be cruel to those he sees as lesser.

Tibby is dramatic, musically inclined, and loyal to her friends. She receives a Melodie Miraculous midway through the series, and is in love with Alyssa Moreau. She is the first to find out Felix's identity. She is close with Felix, and friendly with Claude Mutismo. She has a troubled family life. Trans and cis girls both welcome to audition.

Carter is clever, funny, and very, very sarcastic. He holds a Mercury miraculous that allows him to run at impossible speed. He is the comic relief of the show, and makes a running gag over how obvious his secret identity is. He is 4'1".

Faith is artistic and dreamy. She's Felix's mother, but tends to be somewhat absent emotionally. She has no idea how to handle her sons, and Felix is a mystery to her. She loves Joseph, her husband, deeply, and would kill anyone who hurt him. She is a semi-successful painter.

Joseph is fifty-four and has lived in Paris his whole life.
Joseph is dramatic and very focused on intellectualism. He's Felix's father, and while usually working, tends to be a helicopter parent. He loves Faith, his wife, deeply, and would kill anyone who hurt her. He is a successful movie director.
Felix, your mother and I have been talking, and we think you need help. You're too smart for these kinds of grades. You realize that when you go out, you represent the family?
Jacque, have you worked out yet today? If you don't work out, how do you expect to make a living in athletics? I paid for those weights, use them!

Eric is a mystery. He's a killer, and broke out of asylum with Heinrich's help- a grave mistake on the Monarch's part.

He is stoic and harsh, but tries to be there for Claude. He is not above using manipulation to get his way. He is made into the Mime akuma by Monarch, and convinces his son to join him. He is one of the most dangerous villains.

Atreus Palmer is thirty-seven and has lived in Paris his whole life.
He is volatile and angry, and has a lot of pent-up rage that he never became a government agent. The death of his niece causes him to lose his temper, and go half-insane trying to find the killer.
My niece was murdered in cold blood, and all you can say is you're sorry?
