Meggy & Desti VA's
Project Overview
This is a casting call for roles in the remainder of Season 1 of Meggy & Desti, a GMOD/SFM animated webseries centering on Splatoon and the SMG4 characters, Meggy & Desti. This audition will be two weeks and roles may change over time. However, these 4 below are currently open and are in need of fulfillment!
For those who sign up, know that we meet weekly on Discord and Zoom for table reads, rehearsals and other events, and we do expect you to be ready for all these things and to above all, dedicate as much time as possible. Record clean, easy to hear audio, and join the cast if you know you'll be able to stick for a while.

A very cold and isolated person. She dislikes feelings and connecting with people.
“It’s fine if you’re afraid of the dark. I won’t make fun of you too badly.”
“What, you didn’t know I drink directly from the juice carton? Why do you think we buy TWO each time?”
“hysterical laughter All this trouble just because she bumped into you on a train??? This can’t be REAL!”
An often show-offy and prideful teen, but is willing to help people if she sees the need for it.
“All eyes on me! Clearly I’m the star of the hour!”
“Maybe if you bothered to practice once in awhile I wouldn’t beat you so easily!”
“So, when does the ACTUAL battle start? I’m getting bored!”
Confident in the ring, shy in real life. She never knows when she overshoots or not and tends to be cautious in conversation. All around kind and supportive friend.
“I wouldn’t mind my face on a billboard if I’m the top star.”
“Eep! Hey, scaring somebody mid-battle isn’t a good strategy!”
“All this just for a BOX??? Eh. I’ll take it.”
Meggy is smart and strategic when she wants to be. Most times, her focus is undoing the Octoposse and stealing the spotlight for herself. She wants more than anything to be the star of the league, but often leaves her team in the dust trying to get there.
The arena is my place to shine, when I'm there. Nothing stands between me and them.
Trust me, I am right about this! Desti is ABSOLUTELY up to something right now!
I don't get why you can't understand how important this is to me! To be the one they all see, the one that they love: MEGGY. SPLETZER.
Cas is the smartest one in the Octoposse household. She's logical in thought, kind-hearted in nature, and cold in her honesty. Even with the antics of her team everyday, Cas always knows when to be reasonable.
It's just a phase you know, most kids go through that. Including this one here.
I hope you understand we do care alot about you we do, but you need to know that you're getting ahead of yourself.
YOU need to stop whining, and YOU need to stop coddling her. She has to learn eventually, and she's not with YOU doing this.
A motherly figure over The Octoposse. She doesn't like going instantly for the route of conflict and can be brought to a panic quite easily.
Now, no need to panic! Somebody call 911!
I told you it's not safe to wander at night! No buts, It's simply not for discussion!
Now I'm sure there's some way to handle this NICELY right? We don't have to fight about it!
