Maxwell, Snowball & Maple Syrup
Project Overview
Maxwell, Snowball & Maple Syrup is a talking color "franchise" based on the comic strip of the same name. It stars Maxwell, an English Bombay cat who is smart; Snowball, a young white Japanese Bobtail who is cute and playful; and Maple Syrup, a Miniature Pinscher from Germany who is strategic. They are owned by the 25 year old Amber. There is no deadline. I may be adding more roles in the future. The day you audition, you will be a member of Osmode Animation Studios, my animation studio. You may be re-approached for my later films.
The zero budget reasons, if available, are wrong. This is a serious project, but you should have fun.
Voice Actors: When recording, you should (hopefully) do each line three times with about 1/2 second or more of silence for me to cut between them. Don't have any background noise in your recordings.
A film about these characters is set for release in the fall of 2022 by Osmode Animation Studios. There is also a TV series planned for release on YouTube between 2021 and 2023. If you're not satisfied with the release date of the film, message me and I can push it back.
Right now, we're looking for voice actors and miscellaneous talent. I might also plan dubs of the show, including German and Japanese dubs.
Read lines for auditions the way they are written. You are allowed to adlib though. Make your own voice!

Maxwell has a Brit/English accent. He has a high voice.
Though usually cynical, it is also shown by him to have a deep, loving heart and a strong will. He is also able to express emotion in his everyday life. The cat tends to be the first one in when there's trouble or conflict around him. He acts as a role model towards Snowball, who is still a kitten.

Guys, there seems to be a cat burglar on the loose.
Snowball is very playful and innocent, but also often gets upset. Despite the fact she wants nothing more than to play, it's extremely annoying for her to constantly have to stop herself from playing. She enjoys spending time with her friends by her side, and gets very upset when she thinks people are going to harm her when she is outside.
Before, I didn't know the exact voice Snowball wanted, but I think it should be cute, but slightly raspy.
Max, I think we're in the big city.

Maple Syrup sounds like the German voice in Google Translate, but with more expression and emotion. She also speaks some German words in her sentences.
Maple Syrup is a Miniature Pinscher who is playful, inquisitive, affectionate and loving with other pets. While she is smart, she tends to spend more time with her people than her precious toys. In addition to playing with her toys, she also likes to eat, chew, and enjoy other forms of physical play. Her energy level can be kept very manageable if she is fed regularly.
I think I saw some Nagetiere steal the diamond, but I went to sleep and never saw anything else.

Amber, the owner of Maxwell, Snowball and Maple Syrup, basically sounds like a 25-year-old woman. You can make your own voice.
Although sometimes brash, Amber has a good sense of humor, and also is very intelligent. She is very loyal to her pets, and cares for them even more than they care for her. She is very intelligent and very perceptive, and is able to read people's mental state easily. Though extremely childish, she can be a very caring person. She has shown empathy for others and would love to see them happy.

The movie needs a music arranger to arrange some music for the movie.

You will animate part of the movie. Backgrounds, audio and model sheets will be given to you. Multiple animators may be chosen. I recommend using Pencil2D or higher-grade software.
For your submission, tell me what you like to animate, what you don't like to animate, something you've previously animated, software you like using, what is the highest resolution you can export and what you think your level of animation skill is.
Please include speech, as we need the animator to be able to lip sync.

The world in the Maxwell movie is colorful and sometimes detailed, so the movie needs a background artist to create and finalize the backgrounds and color them. Try to make the backgrounds between abstract and detailed. Also try to match the mood and look of the background with the mood of the scene.
