Project Overview
Maple-Slam and Bear Huggs are 2 superheroes that defend Canada from the most fearsome supervillains to ever walk the earth. Whether it'd be supernatural villains, petty thieves, or annoying woodpeckers, this dynamic duo will always be there to save you!
We are looking for a small team to help bring this project to life in the form of audio comic books, as we already have several scripts made and designs set.

Maple-Slam is a goofy superhero who lives in a cave with his ursine buddy, Bear Huggs. He often fights crime, drinks Maple Syrup for power, and defends Canada from evil. Whether they're actually evil or just a little annoying really varies...
His voice is in the mid-range, sounding like an adult, but can become high-pitched when excited or scared.
"Now, with Maple Syrup-ery and haste, let's defeat this villain!"
"Do you have ANY idea how I am without my Maple Syrup?"
"Now you're vouchin' for an ouchin'!"
Bear Huggs is Maple-Slam's best friend and ultimate animal companion. He is a talking, semi-anthropomorphic bear capable of flawless English and often serves as the voice of reason to the wilder Maple-Slam. He is also really strong, with his strength almost reaching inhuman levels.
Bear Huggs has a deep and gruff voice. Despite this, it also sounds clear enough to understand his speech, and sounds very human-like.
*Sighs* "Maple-Slam, what are you doing?"
"Hibernation keeps me sane in this modern world. You should try it."
"Anyone who messes with my friend, messes with me!"
We are looking for a good comic book artist who can draw in a cartoony, yet detailed art style to bring our dynamic duo to life! We have many scripts made so far, and we're trying to make 25 strips of this series to make a whole issue of our comic!
