Project Overview

Welcome to the Manga Dub of "Destroy All Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated!", a Manga which released in the US officially very recently based around the early days of MAGIC the GATHERING! The goal here is to find willing individuals to begin slowly filling out their world while drumming up support and love for an honestly really solid manga in terms of comedy, writing and casting!

This send is for base characters for the two-parter introduction chapters, Our Saga Part 1 and 2. From there, other roles required will be cast! Credits apply and if this project ever does actually pick up steam, payment will be a 100% must!

    The First round of casting is now over! Thank you so much to everyone who has shown interest in this project, seriously, it means the absolute WORLD to me. In any case, here is how we will proceed:

    I have already been going through, recording and making a note of people's audio. If you will be doing a callback expect to be added on discord, and callbacks will be done there. My username is @ducking, and has a US Army Soldier Picture as its profile.

Lead Role
Kanou is the protagonist of 'Destroy all Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated.' He is brash, confident, cocky and generally a bit hotheaded, but ultimately is a good guy. Kanou is  an avid Magic the Gathering player and has a deep love for Mono-Black decks.


Generally, the voice of Kanou should be young, but not childlike- think around high school level. It should be bold, passionate and only nerdy in the slightest if you so wish. Please do play around with the dialogue- maybe you can find something character based that I've never seen!

Lead Role

Emi Sawatari is everything Kanou is not, She's a straight A student, a go-getter and she even has the exact opposite color of deck to boot. She is the secondary protagonist and a foil for Kanou. She's snarky, has an attitude, an ego and is self-assured about herself and her skills, though this is mostly a facade, as she can be vulnerable, nerdy and at times somehow cutesy... though this is rare.


As with Kanou, go nuts. Find something that's unique to YOU and go for it! If you find a way to voice it that I never thought up, go for it. 


(Probably might have to voice young Emi, but we will cross that bridge later)

Supporting Role

Kanou needs a best buddy right? So how about this poor dude who be trounces in game, taunts, then proceeds to get real with for a minute?

Kurushima's a laid back guy. He's sharp witted, easygoing and generally a good guy to be around. His advice is solid and his ability to see through people like glass is astounding. Go nuts as per usual, and make this background character really pop!

Lead Role

An old friend of Kanou's, Yakumo is a certified Magic prodigy. She's a nervous, embarrassed wreck outside of the game, soft spoken and sheepish, but inside she's a focused, cold and ruthless opponent. Yakumo's voice actor should sound convincing in both regards, as the duality of cutesy and efficiency make up the total of Yakumo's character! Hell, she plays Five Color pile just to reflect her wide and varied personality!


As always, go nuts, try some things out, and maybe go for something I never thought of. While she doesnt appear in the chapters recorded, getting her casted early is incredibly important, due to her significance within the story post-introduction!

Supporting Role

You know those old-heads who've been around for ages? That's this bundle of joy, mid thirties, happily married and content with life, the LGS owner Shibuyama Tatsuo is a crucial step in Kanou's growth within the manga. Think Kisuke Urahara from Bleach!

He should be kindly, approachable and just the right about of Nerd-Who-Plays-Warhammer in there as some dessert. As usual, have fun and go nuts!

Oogusu is the weird mono-green enjoyer. He's quirky, focused and appears to be intimidating as hell when playing the game of Magic. Much like the store owner, he's knowledgeable about the game and generally quite smart to boot. His voice is much more monotone and calm, rarely skyrocketing or exploding. A bastion of cool talent

Supporting Role

Shibuyama Ito is the LGS' motherly figure. With a running gag that she's entirely out of Tatsuo's league and sharp as a tack, she's a kind, thoughtful and helpful woman with a good head on her shoulders. During the course of the series, she serves as a teacher for Kanou and Emi to an extent, as well as being the straight man in a sea of crazy magic players.

She should be older, kindly, bubbly with a somewhat sultry and motherly voice, generally... but if you have an idea, you know the drill, EXPERIMENT!

Supporting Role

A snarky, confident and loud magic player. You ever sat down for a game, and had someone on your team or the enemy team that was just overly loud, taunting or being a vocal nuisance? Gou is just that, and a confident mono-red enjoyer to boot. His lines are all about running fast and smoking grass, so deliver with that same fervor!


However, when he's not on his mono-red deck, he is actually quite laid back, a bit of a jokester and generally just a genuine guy with no filter. He looks scary, intimidating and is compared to a Goblin, but truthfully, outside of the game, he's an absolute sweetheart!

Supporting Role

Unapologetic, not the smartest at times and somehow even more energized than Kanou, Torii's an obstacle in Kanou's way from the very beginning. An unapologetic artifact, fog and just generally all the strategies you hate to see enjoyer, let your lovable *sshole juices flow more than ever delivering lines for this guy! Experiment and make me abhor this man!
