Project Overview

Ego Envirstein, the only sentient living being in his realm of existence that he knows of. This place where the strangest dreams and nightmares are made of, is known as "The Real", because it's so surreal and incredibly obscure, it can't be described in words that do it justice. This project is going to be an animated webseries about Ego, what he does with his eternal time in The Real and what topics of conversation and statements he likes to make when he knows someone is listening beyond the realm he lives in. 


Ego himself is not a human, a robot, an animal or anything that could really be naturally created. Even he himself isn't really sure what he is or is supposed to be.


He does what he wants, when he want to do it, regardless of consequences to himself or others. However, that's not to say Ego does nothing but cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble, quite the opposite. He simply has no regards for others when doing whatever the hell he wants.



AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

- at least a blue snowball microphone or anything with next to no background noise/echo/breathy noises

-Must have a discord as this will be the primary method of communication

- Must be over the age of 18 to audition, as this webseries WILL feature some strong language and occasionally heavily dark topics among other things I REALLY don't want a kid to be voice acting.


THE SERIES:
- Will be animated episodes roughly 10-30 seconds each in length.
- Will go on indefinitely.
- Frame by frame drawn animation, meaning slow episode release but a worthwhile result.

The only character in this webseries, what he says most of the time is incredibly cryptic and when it's understandable, there's often some sort of meaning laced behind it, whether it be hidden behind his snarky attitude or blunt and there to be thought about.


I imagine his voice to be at least a bit on the deeper side, the kind of voice that can be both caring but also condescending when he feels like it, almost gentlemanly but can easily switch to creepy if not, sound like both at the same time.


Sometimes what he says can be mocking or even playful, whereas other times he can be quite serious in either statements or questioning how things work or why they're the way they are. Often he delves into topics and says things directly that aren't for the faint of heart, he finds these kinds of faint hearted people to be both terribly disappointing yet hilariously pathetic.



He can be charming, manipulative and walk all over people before they've even realised what's happening. But he can also be giving, sweet and loving in a twisted kinda way. Ego's the kinda guy that would draw a gruesome picture then stick a cutesy love heart in the corner next to his signature in cursive.



It's a bit of an abstract description, but I wanna see what you do with it~



I've given 6 lines here, all taken directly from the web series. You'd win more brownie points if you audition saying all 6, but the minimum is any combo of 3~ (Not necessary, but bonus points if you add in growling (monstrous, sensual or heck even both), a sort of subtle condescending giggle/snicker or creepy sigh~)

    I've often heard the saying not to judge by appearances and that it's what inside that counts. I thought that was obvious. You'd be dead if your organs didn't work.

  • It doesn't exist. It's only function is as a crutch for weak people that can't make it through life on their own two goddamn feet.
    Life can be cruel, taking but never really giving back. I too can be cruel, malicious, unforgiving, but I like to give back when I can. Come here and I'll show you what I mean~
