Male voice actors needed for Snow White with the Red Hair Manga Dub
Project Overview
Shirayuki is sent to northern Clarines to visit the city of Lyrias on business, but work as usual gets interrupted when a mysterious disease breaks out. Shirayuki must develop a cure, as well as find the cause of the sickness before it becomes a pandemic.
Covers the entirety of Akagami No Shirayukihime’s Lyrias Arc (chapters 33-40) and picks up where season two of Snow White with the Red Hair left off. Manga pages will appear on screen panel by panel as characters give their dialog.

Izana is the Crown Prince of Clarines. He is extremely calculating and shrewd and it can usually be assumed he has alternative motives. His ambitions, however, are always for the good of his people and his younger brother, Zen. Izana's voice should be around a baritone and on the near edge of chewing the scene. No "fancy" accents, but he should sound cool and in control like a evil mastermind. Think: hero playing at villain and doing it well.
“Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the checkpoint and heard that the royal court pharmacists were also here.”
"You have excellent retainers, so there shouldn't be an issue, but if something happens, send for me."
"If it becomes necessary for you to know, you'll be informed."
Suzu is a pharmacist Shirayuki and Ryuu will meet in Lyrias. He's very dramatic and aloof. He's pessimistic and talks often about being single and finding ways to get rich, but when it really counts, he is down to business and just as capable a pharmacist as the rest. Suzu's voice should sound flamboyant, but bored. Think: anime villain who doesn't want to waste their energy.
“I'm a bachelor wasting away over my research. It's nice to meet you."
"Rather than pharmaceutical plants, we should be raising plants that can paint our snowy world with color. And make us filthy rich."
Zen is the second prince of Clarines and is always trying to live up to that role. He wants to become the kind of person his brother can rely on once he is the king. His relationship with Shirayuki, however, puts a strain on this. Zen loves her and can see what she has to offer to Clarines as a brilliant pharmacist, but his brother refuses to give her a chance, until now. Zen should have a tenor voice as he is very fun-loving, but he isn't a child, he needs to have a mature, chivalrousness to his voice.
“You know that this decision is killing me, right? I want to see her face more than anything…”
"There's a checkpoint there that he'd need to pass in order to get to Wilant, but they won't see each other... Probably."
Shidan is the chief pharmacist of Lyrias and the childhood friend of Garrack, who would bully him a bit. Shidan is dealing with a mysterious disease that no one can figure out and the backlash is coming right back at him. He's stressed and all the while tries to deal with his meddling nephew. He has a complete emotional break down when he realizes that he is responsible for the sickness in the first place. Shidan is a grown man, his voice should be bass to baritone with some rasp to show he hasn't been taking very good care of himself and the actor should have the ability to convincingly cry.
“Three soldiers and a scholar all contracted the disease over night. People are panicking and no one is sure if or how they could get the disease.”
"You're such a pain!... Sorry for shouting... I saw you in the cafeteria yesterday, you're also pharmacists?"
Mitsuhide is one of Zen's close aides. He is very protective of Zen and wants his approval like an older brother wants his little brother to think he's cool. He approves of Zen's relationship with Shirayuki, but would never lie when reporting back to Izana. His voice should be around a baritone to a low tenor. He's young, but very professional and mature.
“It's something I've been meaning to ask for a while. I think it's fair since it affects Kiki and I.”
"But like I said, us aides are also moving in so you don’t have to be so anxious. We can all adjust to the new environment together!"
Makiri is a small, fun role in episode four. He is the steward of Lyrias and doesn't appreciate the young prince from the south ordering around the north on a whim. However, Haki is his sister and her betrothal to Izana needs to go through for the sake of their family. Makiri is in his late twenties and in a position of authority. His voice should be commanding even when he's trying to be sincere.
“You sent the order to close Lyrias' outer walls and shut down the checkpoint without our consent?!”
