Male Singer for "Shikiori no Hane"/"Feathers Across the Seasons" English Cover (with NEW Translyrics)

"Shikiori no Hane" (or, "Feathers Across the Seasons") is a Vocaloid song loosely based on the old Japanese story "The Crane Wife". If you're already familiar with the song, that's awesome, but not required so long as you're confident you can learn it. I want to post a cover of this song on my YouTube channel for Valentine's Day, using my own English lyrics. I know there's already an English translation out there; I just felt like making my own as well! :)

Because I have a specific release date in mind (February 14, 2017), I am going to be very strict with deadlines for this project.

Rules:

1. Auditions will be open until midnight Central Standard Time on November 30th. I will NOT cast before that deadline, and I will make a casting decision OR extend the deadline no later than December 3rd. The role MUST be claimed by December 5th, or it will be recast.

2. Please submit your audition a capella, without any music. (If you want to include a version with music, please add that at the *end* of your audition, after the a capella version.)

3. Please try to sing the words clearly so they can be easily understood even by people with slight/moderate hearing loss.

4. Anyone can audition regardless of singing skill! I admit, I'll try to cast the "best" singer/actor, but I don't consider ANY (non-trolling) audition to be a waste of my time at all! :) I'm an amateur singer myself, and I don't have perfect pitch. I'm listening for "it sounds good," overall voice type, and emotional expression more than I am note-accuracy, though I'll try to do my best to judge if you're on key as well!

5. Anyone can audition regardless of gender! As long as you can *sound* like a young adult man, you're eligible to audition.

6. Once cast, your lines will be due within 2 weeks of receiving your script, and all revisions (if any are even necessary!) will be due by New Year's Eve (Dec 31st). ON January 1st, if I haven't received the finished lines (including revisions), I will recast the role. (These dates may change IF I need to extend auditions past Nov 30.)
