Magnet Remake
Project Overview
Hello Everyone! this is a casting call for a short Roblox Animated Horror Film called "Magnet".
Overview:
Two strangers, Maya and Ethan, wake up on a circular platform surrounded by a thick fog with no clear way out and no idea of how they got there. After getting their bearings, they find a box with a limited amount of food and water, along with a note that gives them one rule to follow if they are to make it out. At first, it seems simple enough and they agree to work together and ration what they have. As time passes, though, things start to feel off. There's no real sense of day or night, and the isolation gets to them. Small decisions begin to matter more than they should, and tension builds in ways neither of them expected. What started as cooperation slowly shifts into something else. Trust becomes harder to hold onto, and survival starts to mean different things to each of them. In the end, it's not just about whether they make it out-but what they are willing to do to get there.
Everything will be animated and rendered in Blender. I’m the sole animator for this project, and I’ll make sure it gets done. The longer deadline is because I’m still in high school, so I’ll be dedicating around 30 minutes to an hour each day to work on it(more time on weekends). Voice actors are also welcome to share their input on how they present their character’s personality.

Ethan is trying to stay calm, but you can tell he’s thinking ahead more than he should. He starts off cooperative, but as things get worse, he leans more into logic than emotion.
Looking for a natural voice. Nothing overacted.
Will be referencing someone's skit but it's relatively short and for practice

Maya is more alert from the start. She’s cautious, but fair, and tries to keep things balanced between them. As tension builds, she becomes more emotional—not loud, but you can hear when she’s hurt or losing trust.
Need someone who can sound real and emotional, especially in quieter moments.
