Re-Casting some of the characters that are now free... !

it’s a fan-made parody of Magic Kaito 1412.
I’m currently making it a fanime! The manga can be found on my deviantart page.
As shown in this horribly drawn diagram, each character in the series has done an occupation swap.
Thus, going through different paths. And of course, this effects their personalities.
Occupation swap ‘formula’:
[ Magic Saguru 898 ]Phantom Thief -> Detective
Detective -> Phantom Thief
Witch -> C.H Friend
C.H Friend -> Witch
Side characters, (For example, Keiko Momoi) -> Genderbend.
Yeah, we all get where the “Magic Saguru” comes from ( Because Magic Kaito 1412 … ww ) but why… 898 at the end?
This is a number play that the fandom (usually pixiv or twitter JP) often uses. 898… Can be read in a different way. Not in a way where 1412 is read as ‘KID’. But rather what the numbers sound when you read them in a certain way. Sorta like in English how you can say One, Once, 1st, etc. But in Japanese… Well, we count almost everything differently. From cars to chickens and everything else.
898 in this case can be read as ‘Hakuba’.
How? Weeellll.
8 = ‘Ha’ from Hachi. Hachi when you’re normally counting from 1 to 10 or whatever.
9 = Can be read as ‘Ku’ … Which comes from when you read the Japanese calendar. September which is read as )
8 = ‘Ba’ which also means eight. ( I’m trying to find an example, Nonny, but it’s pretty hard. I’m sure there’s a way to count it but I just can’t remember as for now ;v;
So you mash them together, and you get Hakuba.
