What is Mad Father?
Mad Father (Japanese: マッドファーザー Hepburn: Maddofāzā) is a freeware survival horror role-playing puzzle video game. The game was developed by Japanese developer Sen, published by Miscreant's Room and released on 10 December 2012. The game centers around an 11-year-old girl named Aya, who breaks into her father's secret laboratory to uncover the horrifying truth of his research.

This is a little project I am doing on the side with a close friend of mine. It's more of a casual project, but that doesn't mean we aren't going to try our best to make it quality!
We have everything cast aside from Aya and Alfred.
For communication purposes, discord is required.
We are planning on dubbing all of the content in the game (so all three endings + "If"). We will break it up into 15-30 minute "episodes" rather than posting the whole thing fandub in one video. We plan to release episodes either weekly or every other week. For that reason, we will need actors who are active.
This project will be relatively short-term.
We will cast roles based on these factors:
- How well the voice fits
- Line delivery
- Mic quality

Aya is a compassionate and kindhearted little girl who truly loves her family and she values even things that previously belonged to one of her relatives, such as Monika Drevis' (Aya's mother) perfume. In fact, her love and protectiveness for her family is one of the most powerful driving forces in the game; this is what primarily aided her in persevering throughout the whole journey to save her father, despite witnessing numerous things that would usually drive even an adult to insanity. She is also level-headed and bright, being able to solve tricky puzzles and efficiently wield a chainsaw at a tender age.
Despite knowing what is going on in her father's basement, she chooses to feign ignorance, as she believes her father is a good person. The case goes the same for her mother when she plots her revenge; Aya does not believe her mother is deranged and is willing to save her from her suffering. Although she is definitely more mentally capable than an average person, she is still a child at heart who urgently hopes that her love will reach through to her parents and hinder the madness in the Drevis mansion, despite how far gone both Monika and Alfred Drevis (Aya's father) are.

For Aya, we are looking for a high-range voice. She must sound young and be able to portray a variety of emotions.
"I know father's secret. My father is a scientist. He loves research and is always locked up in the lab in the basement. And I've always heard things from that lab... Animal and human screams... Even at a young age, I knew what my father was doing. So I pretended I wasn't looking. That I didn't know or hear anything. I feigned ignorance the whole time. Because I loved father."
"M...Mom... Why... Why did you do this? If anyone understood father, it was you, mom! It's Maria you don't like, right? She loved father, so you didn't like them getting along... I know how you feel! I love father too, so I felt like someone was taking him away. I was so scared... I couldn't breathe... So you still love father, don't you? Then why are you making him suffer?!"
"What's going to happen to me? Without father, I'll be all alone! I don't want that! I just wanted to live with father and you! Mom... Take me with you, too! Please...!"
Alfred is a psychopathic mad scientist who is obsessed with preserving beauty by making dolls out of living human experiments. He will lure unsuspecting people with a promise of goodwill and intention to experiment on them later in his basement. What pushed him into admiring and preserving beauty was when he killed his mother and liked her pretty dead face.
It all started when he was still a child; he often killed small animals for fun, which was his big addiction. He harbors many collections of morbid experiments ranging from clones, a monster, a garden, and unique, once-human, dolls. He will try everything to pursue his own selfish goals, even going so far as to kill or betray a loved one without qualms.

For Alfred, we are looking for a mid-range male voice. Must be able to pull of both his calm and insane moments.
"The girl will be 11 soon. It's a troublesome age, to be sure. Be kind to her, please. Ensure that she never comes to harm. She is my most precious..."
"Don't be sad, Aya. By making you a doll, your beauty can last forever! Look at these children! Beautiful, yes? Preserved just as they were when alive! These are the fruits of the Drevis family research! Look them over from head to toe. And you can only imagine that they're dolls, yes? But their heads, eyes, torsos, hands, legs... They were all gathered from a wide array of people! I find it quite fascinating! Combine a human with a dog if you so desire! Isn't that incredible?"
"[Chasing Aya] Aaaayaaaa... Open the door, Aya! ... AYA! ... Ayaaa... Come baaack... (he laughs a laugh full of insanity)"
