Lucky Ones | Halo Reach Machinima
Project Overview
The Lucky Ones is a spin on the original Halo story. It is an action-adventure machinima focused on a team of characters appropriately named the Lucky Ones.
The story begins in the year 2552 during the Fall of Reach. The UNSC is giving it their all to defend the planet but the Covenant is too much for them. ONI discovered a Forerunner ship trapped beneath the glacier of the planet. This ship has technology capable of teleportation. ONI decides to study the ship and its technology but they didn't have time to study where the teleportation would send them, so during the Fall of Reach they decide to send some of their own troops through.

Jäger is a Spartan 3 sniper unit. He is usually to himself and is stoic but he doesn't shy away from taking command if need be. He has managed to befriend other Spartans and ODSTs. He simply wishes to help end the long bloody war and take down any enemy that stands in his way.

Casey is a Spartan 3 within the UNSC. He is extremely monotone and rarely shows emotion in his voice. When Casey worked for ONI he would start to question his loyalty to the UNSC. Eventually he would be assigned to a Fireteam known as Fireteam Helios. After his Fireteam was tasked with coming to the ring he would he abandoned by his team and captured by the clan of elites. During this time he would sit and pounder if his life was really cared for by the UNSC.
(This character is meant to sound similar to JC Denton from Deus Ex. He appears in future chapters)

Valentine is a Spartan 3 that leads her own battalion of ODSTs known as the 1016th Battalion. She seems cold, distant, and methodical but she does care for her own...even if it doesn't seem like it. She's the resident medic and chemist for the Lucky Ones.

Astrid is an intelligent A.I. who now belongs to Jäger. She simply wishes to help with whatever task is placed in front of her.

Locus is a Spartan 2 and one of the toughest among the Lucky Ones. He prefers big guns and to go loud in gunfights. Locus uses his strength along with his body to protect his allies and cause harm to his enemies.
(He appears in future chapters. His southern accent is subtle.)

Jake is the Captain of the 811th ODST Battalion. He tries to get the job done but ultimately he cares more about the lives of his men more than the mission. He tries to focus on the objective but can sometimes let his emotions get the best of him. He is serious and focused when needed but with people he is close with his true colors show. He’s caring and loyal to his allies. He’s a man just trying to do his best in a world where the future is uncertain

Cole is the youngest among the Spartans of the Lucky Ones. He serves as the resident mechanic of the Lucky Ones. He's the only Spartan in the group that has family. Cole is noticeably more innocent than the rest of the Lucky Ones.

Zoe is a scientist for ONI. She was brought to the Halo Ring to study it. What she didn't expect nor ask for was to be on a Ring with Elites.

Freya, Alita Williams, is an ODST apart of the 1016th Battalion along with being the second oldest among the trio of Williams. Freya is noted to be the loud and eccentric one. This trait also shows with her passion for explosives. She is the resident explosives expert for the 1016th and the Lucky Ones.

Fenrir, Erik Williams, is the oldest among the trio of Williams and is the secondary leader of the 1016th ODST Battalion. Fenrir is protective of his family and comrades. He is normally the quiet or stoic one among the Williams and sometimes it seem like he doesn't belong with them as his personality doesn't match his siblings.
(The accent is supposed to be Icelandic if possible. He appears in future chapters.)

Devin is the aussie ODST demolitions expert. He once served with Jake back in 2549 and now serves with him again in 2554. He usually is tasked with assisting other ODST battalions.

Vendetta is a Spartan 3 that has betrayed the UNSC. He works for the Ascended Blades of the Night as a mercenary. He seems to only have one goal, to kill anyone that's with the UNSC.

Lieutenant Kell is a harsh commander who doesn't take to kindly to anyone talking back or questioning his orders.

Rela 'Nungam is one of the councilmen of the Ascended Blades of the Night. He is regarded as a terrible leader by other Sangheili. He is also hot headed and can lose his temper easily. Rela also trained multiple elites including Sepo and Xuvo but he still doesn't seem them as equals.

Sepo 'Ratum is an elite in the Ascended Blades of the Night who believes that the current council is unfit to lead. Sepo would rather overthrow the current leadership than go to war with humans.

Xir 'Konam is the enforcer of the Ascended Blades of the Night. He's the one that keeps other elites in line. Unlike other elites, Xir isn't bound by honor and only shows brutality to anyone that might be deemed an enemy.
