*Closed* Love, Lucy Fisher | Main Characters

Lucy is the main character, the narrator, the head honcho, you name it. The story revolves around her.  She gets powers over the element of water (think H20). She's LGBTQ+ and has a crush on Maryam. This is my description of her from when I was writing her...

She is 17 years old and in her senior year. Lucy corresponds to the element of water. She is generally very anxious, and really only enjoys being around people if those people are her good friends or her friends are there to provide a “safety net”.

She has brown, bob-length hair . She is white but has somewhat tanned skin due to her love of the beach and the sun. She usually prefers not to wear makeup, which goes along with how she is generally androgynous.

She herself notes that she is not very religious, and she doesn’t believe that there is a heaven or a hell to worry about, but she is Christian more or less, though her beliefs lean more towards being agnostic than Christian. She is comfortable with her spirituality.

She is fairly masculine, but can definitely be feminine if she wants to be. She identifies as a girl and is comfortable being one, even though generally she presents as fairly androgynous. She likes wearing suits more than dresses, prefers t-shirts and basketball shorts as everyday attire, and generally prefers masculine clothing.

Emily is basically Lucy's best friend. They've known each other since 3rd grade and are practically inseparable.

She is also 17 years old and in her senior year. Emily corresponds to the element of Fire.. She is very confident. She borders on being very sexual and enticing, and her signature red lipstick has become somewhat of an inside joke with her and the rest of the girls.

She has blonde, short hair that is usually curly. On important occasions, she slicks it back. She is white. She absolutely loves makeup and wears it almost every day.

Emily was born and raised Pagan, specifically Wiccan. She is very in tune with her spirituality and loves the outdoors. Her favorite thing about her house is that it's right next to the woods, because she always takes walks there.

Emily is very feminine and fairly mature for her age.

Maryam is 16 years old and is also in her senior year. Maryam corresponds to the element of air. She is, at first, shy and understated, but she becomes much more outgoing as the plot moves forward and she becomes more confident.

She has long, curly, brown hair which she usually keeps under a hijab when she's out of the house. This is because she's Muslim. She likes makeup but doesn't normally wear it. She dresses very modestly.

Her Muslim upbringing was strong, and she is very religious but is super accepting of other people's religious beliefs.

She is super feminine and loves working with style and fashion.

Cathy is 18 years old and in her senior year. Cathy corresponds to the element of earth. She is very warm and caring, and she definitely has a green thumb.

She has brown, wavy hair . She is white and she almost never wears any makeup.

She is Christian but is not spiritual or religious.

Brooke Young is the main villain in this series. She antagonizes and obsesses over the main characters and their newfound powers. She herself used to have magic but does not anymore. She is spiteful, vengeful, and extremely clever.
