Project Overview

Howdy, guys! I’m Mirmir, or Digi, whatever you prefer.

Love Live! School Idol Project is a multimedia series, focused around the fictional School Idol group, μ’s. This project aims to dub a few clips from the anime, some including song numbers.








“Honoka Kousaka loves her school. That's why it's bad news for her when she finds out it's being shut down due to lack of new students. In order to bring in more students, Honoka decides to start a ‘school idol group’, which is certain to get the eyes of the public. To make this dream a reality, she gathers together her close friends and classmates to make the best idol unit possible.” (From Anime News Network)






I’m looking for voice actresses for the main girls, as well as a few minor characters.

Audition Information & Guidelines (IMPORTANT):








  • - Keep pops, clicks, and background noise in your auditions to a minimum please, and try to have a good quality mic.








  • - The deadline is December 19th.








  • - Please keep in mind that if I don’t find what I need for certain characters by the audition deadline, I may scout some of them after the audition period comes to an close.








  • - Please read ALL of the audition lines for each character you audition for. I chose them in order to show off the full range of emotion of the characters, so it’s incredibly important that you record all of them.








  • - On that note, each of the main characters is a singing role and I will require that you send an example of you singing (as will be denoted at the end of every character's lines). That being said, you are not obligated to send in a singing sample for every character (please do not strain yourselves!!). Feel free to if you’d like, but it’s not required. If you want to get a feel for some of the songs in the show that will be included in some clips, here’s Snow Halation and Bokura no Live Kimi to no Life! All the songs sung will be translated and have the lyrics revised to fit.

    Alright, the cast has been decided! Thank you so much for all of your auditions, I can't wait to get this project off the ground! ;v ; If you've been cast, I'll be sending you a PM asking for your email (and skype if you're comfortable with that!) so I can send out updates and scripts tomorrow! Or if you see this comment and you've been cast you can go ahead and send me a PM if you want with said information hehe. Either way, I'm so happy to have you all on board and look forward to working on this!

Bio:Maki has the qualities of a tsundere and has a hard time admitting her true feelings to her peers. She also has somewhat childish beliefs, as demonstrated by the group finding out that she still believes in Santa Claus. Maki is also quite stubborn. This was shown when she was invited to play at the beach, as she was withdrawn from the group and not interested in playing with them.(From LLSIP Wiki)

Bio: Principal Minami takes her job as chairwoman seriously and cares about Otonokizaka High School very much, but doesn't believe there's anything she can do to save it. She also cares a great deal about her daughter.

Age: 15

Bio:Rin is an athletic first-year student skilled in hurdling, association football and basketball. Like Honoka, Rin has a cheerful personality but loses motivation easily and is a tomboy. She is best friends with Hanayo, who she tends to look after, and has a habit of ending her sentences with "nya" (the Japanese equivalent of Meow). She has a complex about looking "cute" due to an incident in her childhood in which several boys made fun of her for attempting to dress more feminine. She is eventually able to get over it with the help of her friends and expresses her femininity more.(From Wikipedia)

Bio:Eli is highly respected and well-known among the students, especially among her juniors. Unlike Nozomi, she appears rather stoic and skeptical in the early episodes, but it is shown that Eli is actually very kind and caring towards people who are close to her, like her little sister. She is also dependable as her grandmother entrusted her the responsibility of preventing the school from being shut down. Other than being admirable, Eli also has a lot of fans in the school. After she joined the group, their popularity rose and their ranking among the school idols increased, achieving more fame.(From LLSIP Wiki)

Bio:Minami Kotori is known for having her head in the clouds. Kotori is shown to be very kind to her friends, and does genuinely care about them, especially about their feelings. Kotori is also shown as the most indecisive person among all nine members, and tends to have Sonoda Umi and Kousaka Honoka, her childhood friends, make decisions for her. She also has a hard time expressing her feelings, since she always takes other people's feelings into consideration. (From LLSIP Wiki)

  • [Upbeat and motivating] We'd fail at being professional idols immediately. But as school idols, we can take our motivation and personal goals and give it a try!

Bio:Honoka is an optimist who is never afraid to take risks. She is always in a good mood and likes to look at the bright side of things. She doesn't enjoy eating red bean paste despite working at her family's shop that sells Japanese sweets. She is determined and once her mind is set on something, nothing can stop her. Age: 17

Bio:Nozomi is the third-year student council vice-president, and the oldest of the group. She acts as the voice of reason to Eli, who was the first friend she made after spending her whole school life transferring from one place to another due to her parents' work, choosing to live by herself in order to stay in Otonokizaka. She also acts as the spiritual leader of the group, and has an almost all-knowing vibe to her, acting when she knew things got too far and even naming the group based on events that were yet to happen. Her hobby is fortune-telling, and she uses it to quickly fit in at a new school whenever she is forced to move. Despite having a serene personality, she has a rather mischievous side to her.(From Wikipedia)

  • [A bit teasing] She can be clumsy sometimes, though. The other day, she almost ate fake chocolate thinking it was real.

  • [Crying, very upset and a bit angry] Even your desire to keep the school open comes from your sense of responsibility as the student council president! Isn’t that why the director didn’t recognize you? What do you really want to do?

    Line 4: [Trying to stay happy, but she’s tearing up a bit] It's obvious. The way I felt watching us and naming this group. There's only nine of us. Muse is only the nine of us.

    Line 5: [Calmly explaining and reminiscing, happy] There were girls like that here and there. That's when something arrived to tie us together with great strength. Something that connects these people who share the same feelings. I was determined to make it so.

Age: 16

Bio:Umi is normally a shy girl, but she has a strong will and has some qualities of a leader. Despite this, she is content to stay reserved and always thinks logically. Umi became the group's main lyricist, and wrote the song "START:DASH!!", along with most of the rest of their songs. She believes Honoka is bossy and pushy, but realizes the perks of having an adventurous friend, usually acting as the voice of reason for her.(From LLSIP Wiki)

  • [Nervous but determined, tearing up towards the very end] My name is Koizumi Hanayo. I'm a first year. I'm short. I'm quiet. I'm shy, and I'm not very good at anything. But… But I believe I want to be an idol more than anyone else! Please make me a member of Muse!
