「Love Live!」Mermaid Festa Vol 1| OC JAPANESE COVER

Project Overview

Hi! I'm Waffle and I'm lowkey addicted to doing collabs ;)))


Anyway, I've been wanting to cover Mermaid Festa Vol 1 for a while and I want some more experience in using a new mixing program, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone and form a chorus!
So that's why I'm here! I am looking for 8 lovely vocalists (all genders are welcome to audition!) to join me in covering the FULL VERSION of the song IN JAPANESE.

We will be singing as our OCs and therefore will be using our natural voices! I'll also be mixing, sprite editing and doing harmonies! I could use some help with animating and maybe someone to help with sprite editing, as making 9 sprites by myself  could take some time.

This chorus WILL NOT turn into a full time group. I just want this to be a fun, stress-free project for us all to enjoy!


The cover will be uploaded onto my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_25IxPVXts0hXRVwZDOR_w?view_as=subscriber ) so please be comfortable with that happening if you get cast.

The deadline for auditions is a month from now but it may be extended depending on number of auditions. 


Here are a couple of rules that I have to make sure this cover runs smoothly, please have a read if you are thinking of auditioning: 

1. COMMITMENT AND COMMUNICATION: This is a low commitment project as I will only need vocalists for one song, but PLEASE be able to make the deadline. If you need an extension, I will be happy to give one (for the right reason of course) but just let me know beforehand! Also, PLEASE have a Discord or be willing to make one as we will be using that to communicate

2. KINDNESS: You MUST be kind to those around you. Whether you get cast or not.

3. HAVE A MIC WITH LITTLE TO NO BACKGROUND NOISE: This is pretty self-explanatory, but if you have a mic with lots of background noise, chances of getting cast will significantly go down

4. PRONUNCIATION: Again, this is self-explanatory. Please have decent Japanese pronunciation!
