Project Overview

This project is a Love Live! cover group, which will include covers by all three clubs in the Love Live! franchise (u's, Aqours, and Nijigasaki). Voices don't have to be identical, but within the same range as the original voice!


Some guidelines:

  • 15+ in age please!
  • Have a good mic. I can only fix so much!
  • No background noise.
  • Be able to pronounce japanese while singing.
  • Please be able to understand if I need you to re-record something.
  • Be able to meet deadlines, and commit to the project long-term! I'm willing to negotiate deadlines if need be, but eventually things will have to get done.
  • Be respectful of any and all decisions made.

  • Deadline has been pushed back

    Although a majority of roles have been casted, I still feel unsatisfied and not very confident in casting some of the roles, so they will remain open. I've given roughly another month, and hope to see the roles filled soon!

  • Clearing up a couple of things!

    With the deadline coming closer, I'm getting more and more excited for the casting! However, I've noticed a few things that caused some confusion, and so I want to make this update to clarify them. Firstly, the joint character auditions aren't to save space on CCC; had I wanted a separate singer for each different character from each different idol group, I would have separated the characters accordingly. However, the reason I grouped idols together is because I'd like the cover group to be a group of nine, making covers for songs from any love live idol group. If you're cast as Rina/Kotori/Chika, that would mean that you cover all three of those characters, rather than just one. Another thing I want to make clear is that I see a lot of people sending in auditions in english, saying they can sing japanese if cast. Unfortunately, this will usually end up being counterproductive, as singing in english is very different than singing in Japanese, and it's hard to take someone's word for it when it is so often that english-speakers mispronounce certain syllable sounds, whether they meant to or not. Singing in japanese will allow me to make that call myself, and so I won't feel comfortable casting you if I haven't heard you sing in the necessary language. I hate to draw a line on that, but I feel it's what's best for the project. Regardless, I hope you're all having a wonderful week, and I can't wait to see where this goes! I'm already torn hearing all of these auditions!
