Louie & Friends is a series starring various of my original characters! The series is a slice of life cartoon inspired by various kids shows I enjoy.
Louie & Friends stars various animal characters who all live their own lives in large cities or small towns, but are all good friends. Each story follows various scenarios with my characters, be it a job swap between two best friends, a mystery having to be solved, or a simple day out. Wholesome is often this show's middle name, and if someone's down in the dumps, or just needs a little boost of courage, everyone is willing to help each other out when needs be.
For voice recording please use a decent quality microphone. Once cast, I’ll contact you over Discord if possible. The deadline will be extended if necessary, and you're in no rush to get your audition done.

Tiler is Mika’s mother. While she’s still overly greedy, she has a heart of gold and looks out more for Mika compared to Don.
Tiler has a somewhat motherly voice, but not too motherly, as she's still not super kind.
Mika, if you don't record the songs by tonight, your dad will be losing money on the next album!

Emmie is a tuba playing elephant who has a big heart, and wants to be a friend to all. She's pretty soft-spoken, and is a little shy.

A calm wolf who plays trumpet for The Howling Harmonizers. He's cool as a cucumber and very relaxed, and he's best friends with Kimmie. He's also good friends with Emmie, as they both play in the same orchestra. He's not fond of shouting or loud sounds.

A energetic, wild Burmese cat with a passion for drumming. An odd member of the Howling Harmonizers, as she has more of a rock-n-roll tone to both her attitude and her drumming skills.
Nelly has a pretty high pitched teenage Canadian voice, and she can be a bit of a large ham from time to time.

The Howling Harmonizers’ band manager. Penelope is a really friendly squirrel and helps out a lot of small up and coming musicians. She mostly prefers staying behind the scenes, but there’s a little bit of her that wants to go up on stage and perform with them as she can play the piano and the saxophone really well. Penelope has ADHD and she bounces from task to task really quickly and has a habit of forgetting things easily.Penelope has a excitable high-pitched teenage American voice.

Connie is a young raccoon who goes to the Cosy Countryside Primary School with her brother Carter. She is really rambunctious and energetic, sometimes putting herself in danger. She’s one of Mika’s bigger fans, and she thinks she could be a good singer, but is horribly out of tune.
Connie has a high pitched British voice. I’m thinking of a similar voice to Lola from the Charlie and Lola animated series.

Stuart is a young turtle who struggles to get out of his shell. He’s shy and doesn’t talk too much, and prefers writing his thoughts to anyone he hasn’t familiar with.
He has a pretty high pitched American voice. He’s pretty stoic and not very emotive with his line delivery, similar to Nonny from Bubble Guppies.

Angeber is a peacock who’s a bit rowdy and snarky, and is very much a show off. Though he can be a bit rude sometimes, he means well. He dreams of being a daredevil someday.

Musicians will be responsible for writing the show’s music and songs. I'd want the show's music to be mostly relaxed, usually quick cues for transitions between scenes, and I'd love each character to have their own theme music.
For songs I look to shows like Phineas and Ferb, Bubble Guppies, Vida the Vet and Maddie + Triggs for inspiration. I’ll typically let you know what style I want the song to be in.

I’ll provide a writer’s guide too, containing what I want from the show’s episodes. Please send a short story with a few of the show’s characters with dialogue when you apply. Look at my Toyhouse for more info on the characters. Please write your stories from hand, no AI should be used.
