Looking for Latin-Speaking Voice Actor and Translator for Student Thesis Film!
Project Overview
Hi there! I’m looking for a voice actor and also translator to help me produce the early stages of my thesis animation!
I’m playing with the idea of having my main character, teenage girl Gaia, speak Latin and English, so I am reaching out to see if there is any talent out there who has experience in both languages!
Voice Actor
Feel free to audition if you have any sort of experience with the language and have spoken before. I’m mainly looking for those who can navigate the pronunciation (of course no need to be perfect) so any experience like lessons or self study is a huge asset.
Gaia’s voice actor would need to record a first pass of line readings and down the line a couple other rounds of lines as the script is revised and would of course be paid extra per revision/update in lines.
Translator
For translator please reach out if you have experience in Latin language and translation and can help me with scriptwriting, which would be frankly quite minimal, but I would just appreciate someone to consult about pronunciations and translations!
Budget
Student budget for both of these roles but both will certainly be paid. I’m still sorting out the budgeting there so if you are looking for super high pay plz don’t apply as I don’t want to let you down!

Gaia is the main character of this film and is a teenage girl who is the embodiment of Mother Nature. She lives on an isolated planet that she has power to control. She speaks her mother tongue Latin to the creatures she creates and that keep her company, similar to a High Valyrian for the dragons dynamic a la GOT, but when strange space businessmen land on her planet she speaks to them in English.
She is mostly very gently and calm, but when she gets taken advantage of, she gets very upset and goes into a rage, so ability to be happy as well as angry is highly appreciated!
