Project Overview

Lone

The basis of Lone is about a teen (yeah no it's not a stereotypical teenage love story at all). It actually deals with real serious mental challenges faced (I can vouch since I was at this point and I still face these mental challenges even today). It follows Alex who recently has distanced herself from pretty much everyone and cuts ties with her group of friends. Her parents grow concerned as she doesn't want to talk to them, so they hire Mrs. Powell to talk to Alex as her new therapist. Despite seeming to not be interested in actually opening herself up, she makes an attempt and tells Mrs. Powell about her last couple of friendships.

I expect lines in within 3 weeks because it is not meant to be a really machinima just a small one as a test. Please let me know ASAP if you can't be on the project or if something comes up so I can replace you pretty please >0>

The final product should be up in about a month from now so in December depending on how long everyone takes counting in personal life too. I'm not a scary person I promise if you need to ask for a time extension, but I might be irritated if you still don't give me anything after 2 months.

Alex is your typical high school teenager. Okay let's not be stereotypical. She's a loner that faces mental challenges as her mind pushes her to believe that she's just a burden and an outsider to her friends. She ends up pushing away her friends and breaks ties by hurting them.

  • I left them because I believe that I was dragging them down. And I destroyed our ties by hurting them, so they could hate me. But I just haven’t been myself…

  • -she slams her locker- Ella, it’s fine really. I need to head home anyways.

  • I coldly turned her away saying we were no longer friends.

    It didn’t seem like she cared about me at all and it was always about her…

Mrs. Powell is another leading role as she is Alex's therapist. She may be older but she offers an ear to listen to her many clients as not a counselor but almost like a friend. She consoles many people who cross paths with her and Alex is no different as she tries to guide her through by listening.

  • -smiles softly- I don’t want to trample through uncomfortable subjects. Just take it slow; I promise I’m a very patient person.

  • Well Alex, they were concerned about you closing yourself off. You used to smile and have friends over, but you seem lonely nowadays.


  • Stop it Alex; you’re not pathetic. You’re being braver than most during their first visit and to be open with this much information.

Very few lines and one of Alex's friends. She is one of the friends she has recently left being triggered by the fact her friends might actually be leaving her. Natalie is a girly fashion loving girl compared to Alex's more tomboyish style. However, it didn't stop them from being friends
