Aria Melanie is a lone girl made somber by her parents’ deaths; her only joy comes through playing the piano. The rich sound of the piano ramifies her with images of her deceased parents she so wishes to be with. But, they must be in Heaven, and there is no such place… Is there?

'Talkative and sociable, it’s easy to get along with Kou. No matter what situation he is in, he can always go through it with a cheerful smile. But, his heart is in a scarred state that can never be healed…'
VOICE: Energetic. Full of happiness, and he sort of has a higher pitched voice, but still has a tone of a teenager.
(happy, triumphant) “Yay, I won! That’s the 452nd win in a row!”
VOICE: Since she is a goddess, she has a mature voice, but she can be playful as well.
(stern) “You understood the consequences. You’re facing them right now.”
'A girl whose happiness is communicated purely through the piano. Her heart is heavy and somber from her parents’ deaths and yearns to be reunited with them once again. She is honest and pure, despite her quiet nature.'
VOICE: A quiet and soft-spoken voice, but very much feminine and teenage voice.
(reminiscing) "My sister taught me the piano... I remember it clearly, even now."
'Contrasting to his name’s meaning, he is shady and he seems to know Aria well. In fact, he may know her a bit too much for her comfort. Although he likes to tantalize with his words, his actions are all genuine.'
VOICE: A mature voice, but can be childish/playful when he wants. He has a slightly deep voice, as he is 20 years old in human age.
(self-deprecating) “Hahaha, I wonder just what would happen if I had been born as a human. Would life be better? Only God knows, I guess.”
'Rendered mute from his experience in the past, he now has a mask over him to hide his scars. Even now after living for so many years, nothing has changed and his past still haunts him eerily. Is there anything that can be done?'
VOICE: Quiet and soft-spoken, but he has a voice like silk. At this time, he is a young teenager, at about the age of 14-15.
Note: he is mute in the game, but this is from before he was rendered mute!
(quiet but pained) “Why…? Why was I born into this world? Was this world always meant to be so cruel…?”
