Creator Approval
A quick update message I'm sending to everyone involved with the project. We are not stopping, but waiting for just a little while to start it. I've been back and forthing with the original author, Jessica Abel, about getting permission to do the project. For the most part she has said yes, I had even sent her a rough recording demo that she enjoyed, but she has said to wait on starting fully until we get approval from her agent because of how this could affect her copyright. This shouldn't be much of a problem since the book came out in 2008 but has been out of print since 2010. So I suppose we'll be on standby for now, but rest assured I want this to happen. I have almost all my notes complete and am going to get everyone together once we are given the go-ahead.
In regards to our Rosa, I think my decision has been made, but I will also choose a second actress to play Rosa's mother. I appreciate each of you for auditioning, and I do not want you to be discouraged by me not choosing you. This is my first time controlling a project like this, so please don't let this hold you from pursuing other voice acting options.
