Project Overview
Calling all K-POP fans!

I'm looking to have a group of people who collaborate on a wide variety of K-POP songs
(both male and female groups) and is 100% voluntary. Not sure how that'll work? No worries! I'll try and explain:
You only sign up for songs you want to do
Songs will happen in "batches", that goes to say, I will propose a handful of both male and female songs
for each round of songs, and depending on which ones we seem to have the most interest in, those will be
the songs I will cast, code, and produce. You don't have to sign up for all of them. Only those you WANT
to participate in, or are interested. If you don't like a song, just don't sign up to do it. Simple as that. :)
Songs will be Custom Color Coded / Split
Because many K-POP songs are unfairly distributed in terms of lines, and some members
only get 1-2 lines, while others get 14, I'll split the lyrics depending on how many people there
are so that everyone gets a relatively equal portion of lines. I also usually will ask everyone if there
is a line or two they'd really love to have, and try my best to allow you to have it. Getting
to sing lines that you enjoy is a lot better than getting stuck with all boring lines, which is why
I enjoy doing it this way. Then you get to be proud of what you do and happy with at least one line.
We function mainly through Discord.
Though we have a few stragglers on Facebook, our main communication happens in Discord, so
it would be helpful to have an account on there. We already have a chat going from FB,
so we'd love to have new individuals that we haven't worked with before! The more the merrier!
All collaborations will be uploaded to YT
I have a YT channel where all the collabs we do as a group will be uploaded, so your hard work will be
online where you can share it and watch it. The world deserves to see your amazing talent!
Audition for as many roles you feel comfortable with
You are not limited to trying out for only one. I encourage more, as someone who can do both is
always helpful! And it will increase your chance to be selected! So don't be shy!
I will Direct Message or PM you to tell you whether you got in or not.
Because of how casting call works, I can't cast more than one person for each position, so
acceptance/rejection messages will be sent personally to each person who auditions. When it
is cast, it will go to an "offsite" individual, but those I PM will be cast, regardless.

For your convenience, I have created a document to organize everything on. This document
contains all the information about what the group will be, as well as where you can audition.
Since auditioning works slightly different here, feel free to simply put down a stage name, and under the
"audition" section, just write "Casting Call" and I'll know where to find your audition. Otherwise,
you can use that space to just add on any additional external auditions you might have (on YT or box.com maybe).

A soprano vocalist must be able to reach higher notes and adlibs in songs with proper strength and stability. It is important to also be able to sing mid-range as well, as many songs are mainly mid-range, but you will be able to be considered for high adlibs/parts (such as Nayeon from Twice or Taeyeon from SNSD).
In your audition, please include:
- AT LEAST ONE clip demonstrating your skills to hit higher notes.
- AT LEAST ONE clip demonstrating your skills in mid-range notes.
- AT LEAST ONE clip from one of the song choices listed to accompany your audition
- (TWO if you're interested in both male and female group songs)

An alto vocalist must be able to have strength and stability in mid-range and some lower notes. It is important to also be able to sing somewhat high notes (even in a head voice) as well, as many songs have higher choruses that may be labeled as an "all singing" section, but you will mainly be able considered for lower and mid-range adlibs/parts.
In your audition, please include:
- AT LEAST ONE clip demonstrating your skills in mid-range notes.
- AT LEAST ONE clip demonstrating your skills to hit lower notes (esp. important for male group songs).
- AT LEAST ONE clip from one of the song choices listed to accompany your audition
- (TWO if you're interested in both male and female group songs)

A fast rapper must be able to execute rapping lines clearly and precisely and keep proper flow. Pronunciation is important, and strength/fierceness and emotion are also equally important. Be sure you demonstrate these. Fast raps include works by Suga in BTS and Bobby from iKon.
In your audition, please include:
- AT LEAST ONE clip demonstrating your skills in slow/moderate paced raps.
- AT LEAST ONE clip demonstrating your skills in fast raps.
- AT LEAST ONE clip from one of the song choices listed to accompany your audition
- (TWO if you're interested in both male and female group songs)
